Teva is No Longer Perfection for Me!

Very disappointed with my Teva purchases. I've always loved the Teva flip flops I've purchased in the past. For my wide feet they were the perfect width and the arch support incredible. They felt cushiony but not too soft. Definitely not too hard. They were my go to shoes...I could wear them everyday of the week, all day long...and often did!
Then last summer I ordered my Teva flipflops and noticed they were more narrow and it took a while to get used to them but after a while they were okay but not outstanding life the ones I had bought several summers before then.

Now this summer....they worst! They are whittled down more narrow than ever before and short. I wore a size 9 last year, so I ordered a 9 again. A bad move on my part because a 9 was way too short. Returned those and ordered a size 10....still too short and narrow. Back they go!

Flip flops have always been difficult for me to wear, until I met Teva. The first few I bought were pure perfection.The placement of the toe separator has always been at the perfect angle for my toes. Perfect length and width. Totally comfortable.

No longer is that true. I guess Teva thinks shaving a bit off the length and width over time will save them money, and the consumer is not smart enough to figure it out! . (Kind of like a quart of ice cream isn't really a full quart anymore!) No more Teva's for me.

Awesome, but the color name is a bit misleading

I adore the Mush Mandalyn 2 Wedge, and I buy it in every color they offer each year. I wear these all the time, with everything from denim shorts to dresses. For me, the contoured bed of the wedge provides more support and comfort than the regular Mush, and the wedge gives it some class. Some people say the Mandalyn 2 is built narrower than the original Mandalyn. This is true, but I have found both to be comfortable, and actually the Mandalyn 2's slightly narrower fit feels like it is providing better support. For the record, my feet are medium width.

A heads-up on the color: Although it is called "Aro Brown", it's really more of a rich gray color.

The best flip flops ever

I love these. I buy 2 pair every year since I discovered them. They don't wear out easily - I just get bored of the colors. I have walked for miles in them in comfort. A great flip flop for those of us that don't like completely flat shoes.

Great. First pair I ordered were extremely defective

The first pair I received was horrible. Torn soles and appeared to be worn...treads were worn and had dirt in them. Returned those and ordered another pair which were great, were defininetly new...they even smelled new. They are somewhat narrower and without as good arch support as some of my earlier Mandalyn Mush wedges but I would still order them again. The pictures are of the first pair I received.

Sizes run small!

I just purchased these via Eddie Bauer a few days ago and cannot find these on their site anymore in order to review them! So, I'm submitting a review here. I have always worn a size 7 for flip flops. These wedges run narrow and short! I thought I received the wrong size. I fear that a size 8 would be way too big, so back to the store they will go. I have a pair of size 7 LLBean flip flops that fit great, so I may stick to that brand for now. I'm disappointed in Teva. It's been years since I've bought a pair and I always remembered them being really comfortable and fitting well. Too bad.

The left shoe seems to be stretched out larger on the part of the flip flop where it holds your foot in place (the thong part) thus making it too large to fit comfortably to walk and the right foot is tight in that area making my foot unable to fit in the proper spot in the shoe.. but I'd rather have it too tight than too loose as you can stretch tight.. Seems like these are defective or irregular. I wear flip flops all the time and this is the first time that has happened so it's not that my feet are odd or totally different sizes. Otherwise the shoe looks good and seems like they would be comfortable.

I have bought several of these over the years. These are the best flip flops I have every worn. I do not have any problems with the post, like some other flip flops. The post is comfortable. The soles are a nice wedge that is not too high or too low. I have a degenerative Achilles tendon and these are the perfect size heel for me. I only wish I could wear them all year long and not just in the warmer weather.

My favorite shoes for summer!

This is my second pair of these sandals just in a different pattern. I love these shoes. I wear them all summer long (which is a long time considering I live in Texas) and my daughter steals them from me to wear too! I've worn them working, walking, in the Colorado river, you name, they've been with me. I will probably buy my third pair sometime this summer. Love the colors, patterns, support and comfort. Highly recommend.
