This is a good first attempt. The case makes the buttons really hard to push. Also the plastic coverings are super hard to get out to be able to plug it in for charging, headphones, etc. makes that difficult. Other than that, it's good.

I cut the screen protector off because that's my preference. I also removed the top left and bottom left half of the protector. It's easier to get to the power connector and headphone connector this way. This made it slightly loose on the bottom.

However, this case offer great protection against falls and is very thin.

It's less expensive than Otterbox and offers about the same protection.

An overall good buy that meet my preferences.

I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to inform those people who are considering this case for their iphone 6. Its terrible. The built in screen saver caused the rainbow effect, so i removed it. That problem was fixed. The vibrate plug is so tight I have to use my teeth to pull it out. The charging plug puts so much force on the lightening connector that I think it might bend it in half. I cut it off with scissors. The case does not fit well together at the bottom and it has an overall plastic feel which makes it feel slippery in the hand. Not sure what to do now for cases. The otterbox commuter does not lined up with the ports. The trident aegis is loose around the volume buttons. The trident cyclops is trash. My last try is the body glove shocksuit. I hope that one is a winner.

Some people apparently do not like these cases but I do! I bought one back in 01/15 for about $27 from sprint store for my new iPhone 6 and I am completely happy with it. I ordered another when I found it on Amazon for such a good price as a back up. I'm a Realtor and have dropped my phone several times on concrete sideways, face down and no damage. Sleek enough to slide in and out of pocket easily - not big and bulky like my old Otterbox. The back and front have rubber like ribbing that keeps it from sliding off surfaces. All ports are easily accessible and everything on phone functions as expected

The product offers very good protection for an Iphone 6s. However, the screen protector is not adequate.

The screen protector allows dust and other debris onto the phone screen. Thus, your screen will be obstructed and potentially scratched over time. I have had the case for over a month, and have had to clean the twice. This is unacceptable.

Further, the case is very difficult to remove, which is a nightmare considering it has to be removed often to clean the screen. The hard plastic has already broken along the bottom of the phone.

If this wasn't bad enough, the buttons are very difficult to use with this case. The volume rocker and power button must be pressed very hard to be activated.

I loved my Trident case for the 5c, which gave me a year of great service. This case however, is a downgrade for an updated phone. I would suggest a case without a screen protector, and apply a glass screen protector.

Avoid this case

I love this case! I have droped it multiply times already and not a thing wrong with the case or the phone!!!
the only down fall to this is the screen cover on the front was to big and I had a hard time pushing on my screen so i removed the front cover and still works very well.

So so case...within a month I already have chips and cracks in the case itself without any dramatic drops or such. Both of my previous Otter Box Defender cases for iPhone 3GS & iphone 4S have lasted intact as long as I have had the phones (multiple years) with some significant drops (and fully protecting my phones) so this Trident case is very disappointing in comparison. I am on the hunt for a new case already for my iPhone 6...very unfortunate to spend the money (~$40? Purchased with local cell carrier) I did on this case and be looking for a replacement already! Additionally I am unhappy with some of the button functionality - a bit stiff. OK but far from great and not long lasting in my experience. I also plan on looking for a case with much better protection for the screen as the lip on this case seems much too small to truly protect the screen as I would prefer. I will look for a case with a "higher" lip next to the screen or a folio style case to cover the screen. With the larger screen on the iPhone 6 (or even more so on the 6 Plus), screen protection becomes a greater concern.

Case looks good. It keeps the slim profile of the phone while adding good protection. However, I noticed gaps in the corners of the case where the top part meets the bottom. I can see through each corner in of both cases that I bought I don't know how this case can be water and dust resistant with gaps the size that I am seeing. Maybe the fit and finish on prerelease cases are just a little off but my iPhone 6s fit fine. The gaps bother me. I don't like to take chance with my phone, that why I ordered cases before the iPhone release date so that I could have my phone protected from day 1. I'm returning the cases for the Trident Kraken. Hopefully that one is tighter.

One more thing. I also noticed that the case's lightning port cover puts pressure on the lightning charging cable, slightly bending it up. While it might loosen up over time, I wouldn't trust it as cables are far too expensive.
