This was my first purchase of bamboo needles. I decided on these after looking at quite a few sets. I was worried about the quality of them but so far, so good. I tugged on the ends and none of them came off or even wiggled. (I had read reviews of that happening.) Rubbing waxed paper across them really does help the yarn slide more easily. I had to switch from the metal needles because the weight bothered me. My wrists were sore and my hands would fall asleep. They take some getting used to but I'm happy with them. Very nice they came with a sectioned case! Makes it much easier to find the set you need. The sizes are a bit difficult to read on the smaller ones but I could still read them just find. I don't know how they compare to the more expensive sets. I don't really care. I like them!!

I recently purchased these knitting needles and thought I'd give them a try first before leaving a review. I started knitting a dishcloth with some very nice Italian cotton I had ordered. After about a quarter of the way through with my 2.75 mm needles my yarn started snagging snagging and I realized that the tip of my needle had started to split. Sadly this rendered my needle completely useless. Now I understand that it's most likely because I was using using a fairly small needle and they have a higher chance of splitting but I literally used it for 10 rows and I was already unusable. The other needles I received came in a wonderful case. (I am new to knitting and this is my first full set of needles I've purchased.)
All in all I am happy with my purchase because the rest of the needles were very smooth and usable. I have started another dishcloth and will update if other needles start splitting but I do t anticipate having to do so.

I don't knit but wanted to start.Not sure if I was going to like it so I didn't want to spend much on something I might not like. Why I had ordered these, came in different sizes and seemed like a good price. Shipping did not take long, and received it on earlier expected due date:) always a plus.I took them into work to get a girlfriends opinion(she knits and was the one who got me interested in knitting). She says they were not only good quality but great for the price. And even though I had gotten the pink case w/ my order ( not my style) it still is pretty cool. Better than no case. The needles are of darker color which I prefer, and they are numbered. The smaller ones may be hard to see for some, but they are written on small needles so it's expected. I'm really happy with them, but I haven't used them yet. I'll try to update once I've gotten some use. Oh, also mine looked exactly like the picture. Hope this helps

I cannot believe the value and quality of these needles for the price! I purchased for my step mom who is an avid knitter and I was worried that they were not a widely known name brand needle but she loves them. They are very smooth and you get two of each size plus the organizer that holds them. The only thing I would change would be to have the ability to choose the color of the cloth organizer it comes with. The fabric the organizer is made of is a little weird as well, I would have liked a rayon/cotton blend or something to that effect. All in all, I would definitely purchase again.

I purchased these, as buying individual sets of bamboo knitting needles can get very expensive very fast. For the price, they're really good quality. However, I really wish they came in larger sizes instead of the tiny toothpick size needles that I will likely never use as they look like they would snap very easily.

I bought this set of needles as a gift. They seem to be in good shape and since they are bamboo (according to the seller) they are warm to the touch. The case is a nice addition to help keep all your needles in one place. The case is nothing fancy but it does it job.

A nice set, complete with every size I can imagine I might need -- and several sizes I didn't know existed! Unfortunately, US sizes are not noted on ends and inscribed mm size is in a tiny dark print, hard to read. (I use a silver pen to record US sizes on end as I use them.) Storage pouch is made of a fabric similar to reusable grocery bags. It is nice to have but awkwardly constructed in the way it folds and ties. Works okay but not well designed.
