The picture shows it kind of pinkish, at least on my screen. I knew it wouldn't be the exact color pictured; all products differ at least slightly from the picture. But it's really a pale brown color instead of anything even along the pink spectrum. I'll still wear it, but I was really hoping for a neutral pink color, and instead I got a brown that won't match much of what I wear. I'm rather upset that it isn't what I expected, and I really don't much like the color.

I bought this color because it looks gray in the bottle (and Essie even describes it as gray), but it changes from grayish blue to grayish purple to gray depending on the lighting. A little disappointing because I've been dying to find a great gray but I'll have to keep on looking.

The color looks just as good on as it does in the bottle (if you use a super shiny topcoat), but the formula is pretty awful. It went on super gloopy and dried extremely fast making it hard to work with. And despite my buffer, base coat, and Seche Vite top coat, the polish chipped the next day. It reminds me of Butler Please... gorgeous color, but don't expect it to last more than one day on your nails.

I have medium yellowish-olive skin tone which has been difficult to find a neutral. This shade "Tea and Crumpets" is beautiful! I was looking for a color that would match as closely as possible to my natural nail bed color, and I was not having any luck! Finally I went less pink, more neutral/tan, and this is so flattering! Contrary to what I thought, it's lighter than my skin tone, and it actually brightens my fingers. I mistakenly thought lighter colors would darken my skin, but this is a *splendid* exception. (nice word - splendid) It's definitely a frost, and I find it streaks a little, but I'm not a professional, so that's fine for me. I'm just thrilled to death I finally found a color that isn't goth or weird or screaming for attention. I like subtle and refined, and this is it! It's so pretty!

Pink-A-Boo is a very pale pink with wonderful shimmer, which gives it some "depth" without being too glittery for those of us who don't like the look of glitter. More neutral than you might expect from the pic, or from seeing the bottle in real life, it's been one of my top choices for pedicures during warm weather because I prefer lighter colors when wearing sandals or going barefoot -- but still want some contrast between my skin tone & my polish color (many neutral colors end up making my toes look as I have no nails, which is definitely not a look I want).

It is sheer, but Pink-A-Boo applies nicely, with little streaking, and with a clear top coat, it holds up well. And because Essie polishes are very reasonably priced, this is not only an attractive polish but a good value too.

Love this gorgeous orange color, and the polish is top quality and 3-free.
Only gripes are that it required 3 coats to be opaque and it dried to a near-matte finish, which isn't too big a deal since I use a top coat anyway and that glosses it up just fine.
For some people, though, I'm sure they'd want to know that before buying...

I love the quality Essie nail polishes. I decided to try this color after seeing a few pictures of it on others. Out of the 100+ nail polishes I have, 2 are pink and those are more hot pink/fuschia-y. I never would have thought this color would look good on me until I saw it on someone with a similar complexion (olive undertone). I love it so much I want a backup. I looks really good under Essie's A Cut Above polish. Now I'm on the hunt for more pinks. Never thought I'd see the day.
