    Please do not buy this sweater. The size does not run true and most importantly, 4 of the 5 buttons came off in the first wash. What lack of workmanship and this was an expensive sweater. They also did not send any paperwork on how to return the product.

    The design is nice. I especially like the heft and the shawl collar, which is fantastically warm when combined with a leather jacket. But . . . as other reviewers noted, buttons fall off. I am not good with a needle and thread and the last thing I want to do is sew buttons back on days after purchase. C'mon folks--if you are going to farm out your once made in American product for cheap labor, at least do some quality control

    update: down to one star. Buttons continue to fall off. Ridiculous. I think I have now sewn back every button on the sweater. Absurd

    I think this old brand is losing its vitality. Some of the clothes are enlarged. For obese people to wear. Button is not strong. Size and packing bags are not consistent. But have to say that Amazon is great. After sales service is perfect, so that people are satisfied.

    This is a beautiful sweater. It is comfortable and just what I was looking for in a cardigan. However one of the buttons fell off the first day I wore it and another is already loose.

    I bought this as a Christmas gift and while it is a nice sweater the buttons started falling off within a day or two of wearing. We were able to find one, but one got run over by a car and therefore could not be used. As a result my husband has been unable to wear it since as it did not come with any extra buttons. I am currently trying to find some buttons that will work.
