I could eat these like candy. They have no artificial colors or flavors, they taste good, and since they are kid vitamins they have low risk of hyper-vitaminosis. They don't have iron or some of the other metals that adults need, but they have a healthy dose of Vitamin C and B vitamins, so they pick you up, and are good for preventing colds.

Sure the children love them! So did I. But then I read the DV%s. Vitamin D hits 150% for two gummies taken by those over 4. Vitamin B6 and B12 get 100% of the DV%. Nothing else makes it to 100%. The next closest is Vitamin C at 67%.

I am so used to vitamins being well, vitamins, that I did not even look at the back until after I handed them out. The children loved the taste and shapes.

I don't see how they can call these complete. These are made by NatureSmart.

We actually have 2 jars of gummy vitamins that we alternate eating so we don't get bored. This Star Wars sour gummy is one of them and the other kind is your typical, non-sour, gummy vitamins. It's nice having a "sour" alternate. Personally, as an adult, i prefer the taste of these over the typical non-sour child gummy vitamins.

This jar only contains one color, one flavor, and one shape (Yoda). So it's actually quicker and easier giving two of these vitamins to kids versus the typical child gummies that come in different colors and shapes. With this one you don't have to deal with "i want one orange and one purple one" or "i want olaf and elsa not two olafs"

The ingredients and the vitamin count look good. The only thing questionable to me is the corn syrup, but in this limited quantity it shouldn't pose a problem.

The container is the coolest vitamin container that I've seen. It's very eye catching and very well designed. It will make definitely make children interested in taking vitamins.

Bland: It's not horrible but it's not good either. It's definitely not sour as advertised. It's barely sweet. You'd think that these gummies were designed for adults instead of kids. I've had multiple children's vitamins, and this is the most boring tasting one. Even some adult vitamins like SmartyPants Vitamins Adult Gummy Multivitamins Plus Omega 3's Plus Vitamin D 180 Gummies (30 Day Supply) taste way better. In my opinion, both Lil'Critters Gummy Vites 275 ct and Flintstones Gummies, 180 Count taste way better than Star Wars vitamins. They are closer to real gummy candies in taste.

It's a mixed verdict at our house as far as the taste of these vitamins. I didn't think they were nearly as sour as I thought they'd be. I found it to be a fairly pleasant green apple taste. My older daughter (age 8) thought they were "okay" and is willing to eat them. My younger daughter (age 6) at first wouldn't even try them as she was afraid of the "sour" taste, but when I told her they weren't so sour, she tried them and I don't think she really minded them (but she had to say she did, because she's already proclaimed them terrible). Neither of the kids particularly cared about the Star Wars theme. My husband really did think they were terrible, but then, he's not the one taking them.

As far as nutrition goes, these are roughly comparable to, if not better than, the L'il Critters Gummy Vites we've been giving the kids. Being over four, they both take 2 vitamins per day, which gives them 42% of their Vitamin A, 67% of Vitamin C and 150% of Vitamin D for the day. There are also large percentages of Vitamin E, Vitamin B-6, Vitamin B-12, Folic Acid and some other minerals.

As far as the bad stuff, each gummy contains 1 gram of sugar and corn syrup and sugar are the first two ingredients. Again, this is slightly better than the L'il Critters. The one thing that confuses me is that one serving for 2-3 year old children (one gummy) contains 10 calories, but one serving for 4 year olds and up (two gummies) contains 15 calories. I'm not sure how it is you only get half the calories from the second gummy.

There are 120 gummies in this container. At two gummies per day for each of two kids, this container will last us about a month, but at the same price as the 275 gummies in the L'il Critters bottle (2+ months), which will probably be the deciding factor as far as us not continuing to buy this product. Even though the product itself is slightly better nutritionally, the L'il Critters taste is better and the price is right.

For some reason, I had expected these to have a variety of shapes and colors based on different Star Wars Characters. Not so, all are sour gummy Yoda heads, light green.

Aside from this, these are very easy to chew and do not leave any aftertaste. In fact, if you placed these in a bowl, those around you would be sure they were candy. Which leads to the risk of ANY vitamin that looks and tastes like candy. Vitamins are NOT candy. In fact, when my niece was young, she ate a jar of chewable vitamins thinking they were candy and ended up in the emergency room. It was then that we became aware of potential problems.

Therefore, after looking at the level of vitamins, I was grateful to see that they are child appropriate, even if a child receives more than the recommended dose. However, if your child overdoses, please be sure to call your family doctor for advice! I was also grateful to see that these have a childproof cap.

My granddaughter has used gummy vitamins in the past and immediately enjoyed one with grammy, along with the caution not to take more than two a day (her level) when she brushes her teeth in the morning.

We both enjoyed the flavor, and I enjoy keeping her healthy. Because the Gummy Vitamins have appropriate levels and safety considerations, I am giving this five stars.
