This foundation was so inexpensive that I expected that it would not work well for my aging dry skin. However, price doesn't always tell the tale. This foundation is a lightweight smooth liquid. It does not give heavy or full coverage. It gives light to medium coverage and brightens the skin. The dropper type top is annoying and unnecessary which is one of the reasons I took a star off. I generally will take the top off and dab several drops of foundation on the back of my hand and then apply the product with my fingers or a brush.

I get a nice glow, and more even, dewy and smooth appearing skin. I use Dream Wonder Foundation over primer and it seems to last all day. I do have dry skin and this is dewy enough to keep my skin from looking dull but isn't greasy or oily. It sets to a nice semi matte finish that I can barely tell is there except that my skin looks better. Other cosmetics work well over this and I am already planning to buy a darker shade for when (or should I say IF) summer comes and I have a bit more color. I have worn foundations that were 10 times the cost of this one which worked and looked the same or not as good.

I just wish the "dropper top" wasn't on there. It seems more of an inconvenience than anything else but I can live with it. I also wouldn't mind a tad more coverage but this is absolutely not a deal breaker. This isn't the only foundation I use but I do like this one and feel it will be even better for my skin in the the summer when lighter coverage is preferred. It's definitely worth the price!

For reference, I am 50 with medium skin that's pale from a long winter and I chose Pure Beige. I could have gone down a shade but, once blended, the color looks natural on my skin.

I LOVE this foundation. The foundation comes out in a wand, and you have to dab it on your fingers or apply the want directly to your face. It has a very oily consistency, which may not be good for people with oily skin. (I have normal-to-dry). It applies a thin layer that I can build on. Gives light to medium coverage. I love it because it doesn't feel like I am wearing anything at all. The only potential downside is that it looks like it does not come with a lot of product. I have only had it for two weeks, so we'll see...

Wow. I am very happy with this amazing foundation! I initially got a coupon at Ulta that was a 2-for-1. So I bought two bottles, and was half-way through my first bottle when I said, "I better stock up on this - it's GREAT!" So I surfed up to Amazon.com and got two bottles here. What I love about the foundation is that you can use it a variety of ways. You can put a thin layer of it on all by itself. Just a dime-size drop spreads easily on the entire face. I typically mix mine with a dollop of sunblock, and that also goes on without any clumping or lumping (which often happens when you mix foundation with lotions or sunblock, I've found). I can also put on a wonderful face primer (L'Oreal, DHC Skincare, etc.,) and smooth the foundation on over that. Any way I use it, the result is a VERY smooth, streak-free look that seems to provide the right amount of coverage, so I don't look like a pancake face on top of a white neck. I've tried many name-brand foundations, but I'll stick with this Maybelline one for now.

I love everything about this foundation, EXCEPT the applicator. It is TERRIBLE. But more about that later.

The foundation is excellent as long as you know what to expect from it. It is NOT a full coverage foundation. It will NOT camouflage dramatic discoloration, or scars or blemishes, or fill in extremely large pores. What it DOES do is provide very lightweight, smooth coverage that blends well with your natural skin, making your skin tone more consistent and smoother over all. I tried 2 colors: Nude, which was a bit too dark and a little orange; and Classic Ivory, which was perfect for my fair(er) skin. It spread well (I used my fingers) and evened out my skin tone. Basically it looks like a very good version of my regular skin. It does smell of alcohol a bit, but that dissipates pretty quickly. I used a moisturizer beforehand, then applied the foundation with my fingers and then a light dusting of finishing powder. It blends unbelievably well with my natural skin, to the point where it almost looks like I'm not wearing any foundation! I have yet to see if it will make me break out, but I'm hoping that won't happen.

Now, to the con: the applicator. It is this teardrop shaped bulb on the end of a rod attached to the bottle's top. You are supposed to shake the bottle, draw out the applicator, and let the liquid drip onto your finger. Yeah, right. It took FOREVER just to get a drop onto my finger! I tried shaking the applicator but it didn't seem to help much. If you have hours every day to just apply your foundation, you'll be fine. I love this foundation!!! it is the same formula as Yves Saint Laurent ink foundation and works exactly the same!!! (I had both at the same time)
i like that it goes on smooth and appears invisible. It feels light and my whiteheads stay covered all day. It also has acne medication which works extremely well!!
