This ranks among the all-time worst products I have ever used. I have been so careful with the use of four of these. I have never paid such close attention to the proper care and proper use of anything - EVER. The useable sponge some how deteriorates at its base and separates itself from its anchor part. It simply rolls itself apart to unusable after two uses. I do not think I have had one of these survive a third use. The one I just put down was well wetted without any detergent or soap of any kind and self destructed on its own under zero stress. I do not think the water is a problem. The water is the same that I shower in with no ill effects. Am I wrong here? I would think these are supposed to last for more than one use. The photo is intended to show one end of the sponge still connected to its base part. The other 98% separated in a single roller action. Yes the sponge was well wetted and the action of the roller required no particular strength on my part.

This mop and their "Triple-Action Power Scrub" model are GARBAGE. The lever uses a single rod that's attached the the sponge clip at two little points that are crimped on - which effectively broke and will no longer hold the sponge retainer after mopping a few hundred square feet of my apartment. I can seat the attachment back on but the crimps are crap and every time you use the lever... the sponge head retainer assembly falls off. This is one of the worst engineered products I've used in quite a while. Absolute garbage. Don't buy.

Hilariously poor quality. The wringer is attached to the disposable head by a metal rod which, in my case, came loose on the very first wring. The rod is difficult to re-attach, and does not STAY attached under any kind of pull. Literally failed on the first use, less than a minute after removing the packaging.

A poor quality mop designed for our disposable society.

Does anyone make a high quality sponge mop that's built to last more than a year and actually works? If so, I've yet to find one.

A total piece of crap. I only mopped a few spots on a tile floor several times, and the mop head just fell apart, after approx. 4-5 weeks. I probably actually "mopped" with it less than 5 minutes total. I just bought a replacement head, followed the instructions, and the old head would not come off. I finally got so pissed, I just threw all of the crap in the garbage. Shame on you for marketing such a s***y product!

I had the same issue as Mr. Reynolds (see his review). The rod attached to the sponge clip broke off the first time I used it, after mopping just 2 rooms in my house. Unfortunately, there is not an easy way to repair it either.

The only problem I had with this mop is the handle disengages the mop too easily. The instructions say; "to change the refill, press the lever toward the mop until you hear a click". On my previous O-Cedar Wood-Matic Roller Mop, it took a lot of pressure to make it click. Perhaps, the company over corrected, because on this mop (my second), it is way to easy to push the handle until it clicks. In fact, almost every time the handle is returned after squeezing the mop, it clicks. The mop then could fall off.
