Oh my word! First off, let me say that the Misfit Shine is an amazing gizmodo! Luv it. However, this 'pebbled' leather accessory I'd skip, were it not for the fact that I desperately desperately need the casing/enclosure to hold the unit. It says Leather, but I think this is as thin as you could possibly get this pancake of a wrist band! The movable loop )with its singular piece of thread holding it together) will probably be the first thing to break with continued use.

Seriously, I understand that some engineering went into crafting the enclosure, and I'm willing to pay for that, and perhaps it would have been best to just sell the enclosure without cheapening it by adding the sub-sub standard wrist band. A 'reasonable' option for Misfit to commission would have been to simply use a resin band from Casio, Timex, or any generic manufacturer...

For the price I expected a better band. It has popped off on me once already. While I like it better than the included silicone band, it isn't up to what I expected.

I wanted to wear my Shine as a watch and wanted it to be more fashionable than a fitness accessory that these generally look like. The band is comfortable and gives the Shine a great watch look and feel. The pins that connect the band to the faceplate are a little loose, and can come undone. That poses the risk of losing the Shine, if it falls off your wrist unexpectedly.

Dont buy it! So cheaply made that the band actually breaks on the 3rd day I am on my second one and it happened both times. Where the band connects to the face circle it is so cheaply made that the band pulls apart. There is a little screw that just pops out.

I would give this no stars if possible. It is the model I need and my misfit shine is constantly popping out of this band. I can't believe I wasted money on this! Poorly designed.
