I have the Caribbean Blue model in size large. It is an awesome food bowl. My Stella is a 60lb. lab mix and she is a feeder. She used to inhale her food from her old bowl. By using the Slo Bowl, it has added over 3 minutes to Stella's feeding time. It now takes her around 5 minutes to eat her food where before it could take 2 minutes or less.
- The Caribbean Blue Large is 10.5 inches across.
- The grooves closest to the edge are around half an inch thick and get deeper as move inward to the bowl.
- The center groove is almost 2 inches deep.
- The bottom of the bowl has 4 pads with small rubber feet on them too help keep the bowl in place.
- Really slows dogs eating down and helps prevent bloating due to eating to fast.
- BPA and PVC free
- Dishwasher safe, just make sure to put it in the top rack
Overall it's a great bowl. Well worth the money. If your dog is a feeder and loves to inhale it's food, buy a Slo Bowl.

Not only is this bowl super cute.. it works!!! My 4 month old golden retriever/great pyrenees puppy would inhale her food. She would eat roughly 2 cups of kibble in about 5 seconds. I tried only giving her small amounts at a time but it never stopped her from inhaling it. Which always resulted in her throwing it up whole. She wouldn't even chew it. Now with this new bowl it forces her to slow down to get her food in between the grooves. We love it!! It's taken her about 10 minutes.

In case you are wondering - this size (large) will hold 4 cups of dry dog food. I couldn't find that answer anywhere so I bought the big one. I would have bough the smaller one if I knew that.

I rarely leave feedback and I don't know why as I love to read others... This is the best $15 I have spent in a very long time. We got a new puppy and she just inhaled her food and then threw it up. This little gem has taught her in no time how to eat slowly like a lady. Also she is full when she finishes eating and does not beg for food 24/7. There were several types of bowls but I picked this one because it seemed harder to eat fast... also it has rubber bottom so the bowl does not move when she is eating...
