For my first time using a music writing software, I was impressed by how quickly I was able to pick up on how to use it properly. I didn't have any problems when I went and copied my music from practice and it makes it much easier to read the music after it has been digitally formatted!

This software is the best and most affordable program I have found on the market for my needs. It enables me to easily score music and make changes. No more re-writing an entire piece by hand due to one small mess up. I spend a lot of my free time writing scores of music for various small productions in my neighborhood and this software allows me to produce them more quickly and with better accuracy. In addition, it allows me to teach my children how to read music.

The more you know about music the more you will get out of this software. I bought it because I wanted to translate my piano teacher's hand written assignments and notes to me into more standard musical notation but haven't done it yet. I feel like I would have done it already if this was more intuitive and I was less afraid that it will be a struggle to get it right. It really looks like it will do much more than I expected for such an inexpensive product and I probably would have given it the fifth star if I wasn't such a
scaredy-cat.

works good for my first software. i'm still getting used to the functions and for the most part it's intuitive. However it was less intuitive when adding lyrics in the correct position. It took some time to get all of the notes, lyrics, etc. to line up and look good while still being able to read and play the piece as it should be.
