Looks Good, But...

This is a very cool looking case, and except for a design problem, it is also a well-built case. The design problem is Kensington's solution for holding the tablet to the case, and it was probably inevitable given that it's built to accommodate a variety of different and differently sized tablets. You fit 4 quite flexible small straps over each corner of whatever tablet you have from their list and, at least for my iPad Air 2, it sort of flops around a bit when fairly loosely "strapped in." Not a secure situation at all, and if you're using it on your lap, it could become a problem because the straps simply don't hold it tightly enough.
I would not buy again, and I will only use it while sitting at a table with the iPad. Too bad, it's a very good looking case.

Love, love, love! Great quality. Great function. Holds the iPad snugly and securely. Awesome throwback. My only disappointment is that it is a magnetic flap and not Velcro. I was looking forward to the sound of repeated Velcro tearing!

Update: Born July 1, 2014 / Died October 21, 2015 (ironically on Back to the Future Day!). I wouldn't say I was tough on it - I bring it to and from work each day, opening it at the start of the day and closing it at the end of the day. That was all it took for the first rubber holder to snap. Unfortunately, the remaining three no longer hold the ipad in place. I would have expected this to last longer.

Although It's built with high quality materials, and has wonderful novelty value, it sucks as an iPad case. The stand positions are strange, have too big of a footprint, it is difficult to hold while using the iPad, and is really heavy.

Great idea, poorly implemented. Too bad :-(

Good look, ok functionality

Very cute, love the trapper-keeper look, but the straps don't do a very good job of holding onto the iPad. Every time I open it, I have to wrap at least 2 of them back around the corners of the device. It doesn't fall out while in my bag, but it's inconvenient because it could easily fall out if I'm not very careful when I open the case up.

I don't feel like this is protective enough for my iPad. it only hooks to each corner with a flimsy piece of elastic . I never used it. It is still in the box. I tried to return it, but they say it has been too long. it expired for returning on feb 21. Today is feb 28. a week too late. Not happy.

When I heard that a Trapper Keeper tablet case was coming out, my inner 3rdth grader-self hooped and hollered in delight. I have had it on for a month now, and I am an art teacher, and it is still like new. It's easy to clean and seems to not attract dirt like other cases I have used have. My only wish was for a velcro, rather then a magnetic, closure. =]

Cool pee chee throwback

Bought it for my iPad air 2. The case seems to work ok but it may be a bit loose. Remember this is a "universal" case for tablets. It is not sized especially for iPad.
The pee-chee folder print is pretty awesome. I've only used it for 2 days but I've already had quite a few people comment on it saying that it brought back memories..... As it did for me.
