This is truly a POS, folks. Very cheaply made, super flimsy plastic, and overall just way to delicate for a kids' toy. I would imagine any kid is going to break this in 5 minutes just trying to get it out of the box (it's bolted in) or trying to get the battery compartments open. The biggest flaw, though, is the one I got didn't even work -- I put in brand new batteries, and the car would only go backwards! I thought the rechargeable batteries was a great feature, but the charger is a mystery -- I see no way to get the batteries to fit, and, like I said, the toy itself is just plain crap. Don't waste your money or risk disappointing your kid. This is a "sponsored" product, and I'm surprised Amazon would even sell something of such poor quality. Sending this back for a refund (thank you Amazon for your great return policy though!).

My 8 and 5 year old sons bought this with their own money. I was disappointed to see that the remote control arrived broken. However, my boys took that as a challenge and were able to fix it themselves. It works as expected now. Yet, my sons say the truck works best inside and on gravel or pavement, but does not drive well in the grass. The springs on the truck, do not bounce as well as expected. The boys thought that they would be able to set up jumps for this truck, however, they have discovered that the truck does not go fast enough to jump well. They like the blue light that makes it glow. It has interesting decorations. It goes fast enough for them. They can do donuts with it on a flat surface. They like the way it a detachable charging unit. From my point of view, as their mother, it must be pretty well made, because the truck has lasted 2 weeks without breaking under the care of my 2 sons. That says something for its construction.

My son bought this with his own money. He was really excited to get it but it would only go backwards. I see some other reviews said it would only go forward but we were not so lucky. We tried another remote we have and, with it, we could get it to go forward. We sent it back and Amazon sent a new one. I would caution against this product since it seems to have so many problems. My son has only used the new one a twice but so far so good but based on other reviews, I doubt this will last long.

I purchased this to take to the ocean with my nephew and it did pretty good. The battery died really fast but I'm guessing that was because of the hills it had to go up so that wasn't that suprising. The thing that got me with this is that the tires are made out of foam instead of rubber. Still a lot of fun. It did come with the screw drive and I think it had batteries with it.

Arrived within 4 days.
First day charged battery to what i believe was fully.
It worked well except the turning didnt really seem to work well.
Then it seemed to slow, so we recharged battery.
Next day couldnt get it to go.
In attempts to make it go it appears that hair can easily wrap around the wheels & keep it from going.
Will attempt again after hair is removed & batteries are what we believe to be fully charged.

It's a good truck, but my front broke off after playing with it for a week. I very disappointed with it. Other than that, I love the truck. I am planning on returning it and planning on getting a different one. Need to call Amazon. I LOVE Lutema products!! I would recommend this to others to purchase.

Incredibly cheap product much worse in person. I bought this for my nephew as a ringbear gift and the tires are the most cheap foam tires you could think of and the look is much worse than the pictures. It hasn't been gifted so I don't know how it runs but hopefully much better than it looks. That being said he is only 4 so as long as it works we should be ok. But I wouldn't recommend it, I would spend a little more money next time.

Not worth buying at all. After about an hour of playing with it, the remote had problems. It wouldn't go into reverse and the control to turn the wheels stopped working. I sent it back and got a replacement, but the same exact thing happened. I would never recommend this truck to anyone.
