These things are great value for the money. Heck, they'd be a great value at twice the cost! Full disclosure, I used them for hanging smaller, 4-stringed instruments (a baritone uke, a cigarbox guitar and an electric tenor guitar), although they seem like they could handle twice the weight. I really love that the instruments hang a inch or so away from the wall, no scuffing the paint (on the instrument or the house!) Speedy delivery as well.

The variability in the width adjust on these hangers has me nervous. I've not had one fall, but they don't seem as secure as the fixed width ones either (we have several). The banjo width is very narrow and seems very precariously perched on the hanger.

Perfect!! Holds our guitars, so they're off the floor stand, which makes for easier floor sweeping/polishing!! I definitely recommend this guitar hook holder.
