I'm weaning my cats off a veterinarian prescribed catfood and moving towards this. The ingredients on this and the dry food I'm switching to are actually better than the vet prescribed food they were eating. Plus it's less expensive. My cats are very sensitive to food - so I've mixed it 2 parts vet food to 1 part this food and my next order I will go to 1 and 1. Finally after that I will make the complete switch to this food. So far they LOVE it and have had NO issues with the switch. I've actually noticed an increase in energy and activity in both of them since switching several weeks ago.

THIS REVIEW IS BASED SOLELY ON THE PRICE - please note that this can of food only costs $1.04 at Petsmart - and these sellers have more than DOUBLED the price (24 cans for $48+)!! I understand making a profit, but this is insane. Would love to buy, and would even pay $1.25 a can to have it shipped to my home (~$30 for a case) - so until then, I will continue to purchase this at Petsmart.

NOTE: If this were strictly a product review, I would give it 5 stars, hands down. I took in an abandoned kitten that was 4 weeks old and started feeding her this product after 6 weeks of KMR - and, as with any food change, I expected stomach issues, if you will... this is the second cat that I had, both from different upbringings, that did NOT have ANY problems at all with diarrhea or allergies!! AMAZING! I ONLY feed my cats and dogs Blue Buffalo Freedom food.

My kittens love this food! And I like the fact that it is good for them (you can actually see carrots in it). But the absolute best part of this Blue Buffalo Freedom Indoor Kitten Grain Free Chicken food is that even having 2 cats, the litter box is essentially ODOR FREE! This fact alone is worth its weight in gold (and a 5 star review). It's awesome to have a food that my cats love, keeps them healthy, and makes their pottybox almost invisible!

My little guys like it, too,but when I started feeding it with Merrick kitten dry food , we got some diarrhea. Went back to Royal Canin dry food for kittens and sprinkled some dry pumpkin on top. Fixed us right up! I like the idea of the Gerber rice baby food and will remember that for the future. Still feed the Freedom Kitten for their wet food. They love it and it is very high quality.
