A couple of years ago I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and found these great sheets. A few days ago I went back to Bed, Bath and Beyond and looked for those same sheets. I had no idea the exact material but I thought the sheets would be the highest thread count so I spent 50.00 a sheet for a 625 thread count. They are simply not as soft as the ones I bought a few years ago so I looked at the tag on the older sheets and saw the word "Modal". I had no idea what modal was so I googled it. It is a soft rayon material. I have proceeded to order three more sets of Modal sheets by Brielle. They are as soft as silk and very reasonable in price. they are softer than any of the high count thread sheets. I would highly recommend these sheets. they are wonderful.

I purchased two sets of these; Full set in white and Queen set in Cream. They are incredibly soft and have a silky-smooth feel to them, right out of the package. The sets have been washed a few times with no negative effects, such as pilling, loose threads, or shrinkage.

Pros:

1. Extremely soft and smooth.
2. If you sleep hot, these help provide a cool, yet comfortable sleeping environment.
3. Sheets will fit on a variety of mattress sizes up to 16 inches.
4. Durability so far has been very good.
5. The tailoring on the sheets we received is high-quality, tight, and I have yet to find a loose thread.
6. Near the top in terms of comfort and just melting into bed at night.

Cons:
1. If you hate any wrinkles, you may not like these. Most sheets with a full elastic fit, designed for varied mattress sizes, will wrinkle to a degree. After a few days on the bed, these do develop some wrinkles from use, yet the comfort outweighs the minor loss in aesthetics.
2. They are a little thin, though nothing close to sheer. The sides of the mattress have a pattern which is visible when using the white sheets; the cream ones do not show through as much.

We use these sheets on a 10.5" full and an 11.5" Queen and the fit is very good. I think if you have an 8" mattress, there would be much more material to place under the mattress, so something to keep in mind.

We place a small, inexpensive throw rug between the mattress and box spring to keep them from sliding. As an added bonus, it helps keep the sheets in place; a possible solution if you are worried about too much material moving around.

In summary, I really like these sheets and the minor inconveniences are outweighed by the benefits.Read more ›

The product: King size; grey duvet and pillow case set

Tags reveal it needs to be machine washed cold and tumble dried on low. product recommends pulling it out of the dryer immediately and says it may need light ironing.

I don't take the time to write reviews but this product needs the support and is absolutely worthy of it! I was skeptical because of the lack of reviews but I closed my eyes and submitted my order on a whims notice and it was the greatest purchase I've ever made!
Sooo.... let's break this down easy for you because not everyone wants to read a paragraph of rambling reviews:

PROS:
Beautiful color
Exceptionally soft (It's like the cousin of silk)
Fast shipping
Low cost

Cons:
The picture of the colors doesn't match with the grey I received. They advertise it as a silvery light grey; it is basically a charcoal. I didn't care though. I just needed any shade of grey.

Overall, if you are considering this product, BUY IT NOW! When I pulled the product out of the shipping box it had a price tag on it from bed bath and beyond selling it for $99.99. But I only paid half of that so it is definitely worth it. And considering the exceptional quality of this product it is well worth the extra twenty dollars or so you may pay for with an overly priced cotton duvet cover. I'm telling you take the chance on this product you won't be disappointed.

The size issue; Why so big? I received my duvet set, washed cool, dried low, no fabric softener. Feels like butter. Was way too big for my 'standard' King comforter. I'm not sending it back because I love the feel and the extra length allows me to tuck the end under the mattress so the silky fabric doesn't slide around as I move a lot. For the price this sits alright with me. The label inside the duvet reads 'manufactured for Bed, Bath and Beyond' (at just over 1/2 the price) and the labeling on the package states 'king size'. So my IKEA standard King comforter measures 86"x102" - which on doing a search was the standard. BB&B considers standard King 96"x110" - this is also the measurement other searches consider a California King. The description for this duvet set states that the size is 98"x108", but I didn't pay attention to that and just assumed 'standard' was standard. Laid out on the floor this cover is 96"x110".

My wife and I needed smooth, but quality grey sheets and these Modal sheets definitely fit the bill. I have bought sateen sheets from other companies and they usually end up with rips in them. I have had zero issues with Brielle's.
