not for dress blues....

The sizing was large on this shoe compared to all the other shoes I own. In addition, they are somewhat thick and "tall" accross the nose. They looked like clown shoes on me in my dress uniform.

Good Dress Shoe

Bought these shoes for my Class A uniform. I am a size 13 and they fit fine. They are comfortable with the included insert, are a little more tapered than other brands and the price was right. I would recommend Maelstrom to others.

Runs large but seem to be decent

Product looks excellent. I did not get to test the durability since what arrived wasn't my size. I'm normally a U.S. 8 but I guess these run big cause they swam on my feet. Look and feel like my bates® Military grade dress shoes but for a fraction of the cost. I promptly recieved an email return label from the company so overall I've been satisfied

Awesome shoe, especially for the price

I wear these with my tuxedo!

I purchased these shoes because I work in an industry where I wear a tuxedo on a weekly basis. I was looking for something comfortable but with a glossy look to go with the formal attire. These shoes have a very nice and very shiny look as you can see from the pictures below. When I put them on with my tuxedo they are a natural fit with the outfit. I also like the shoes because they came with a very thickly padded insole. I have taken a picture of the insole so that you can see how thick the padding is. The third thing that I like about them is the soft lining on the inside of the shoe. It seems like it is a moisture wicking material to keep your feet cool and dry. I'm only giving these four stars because I am afraid they are going to fall apart fairly quickly. All of the stitching is single stitching and I already have a couple of frayed ends after only one wear. Although they look great and they are comfortable to wear, I'm afraid they are not going to stand the test of time. I received these shoes at a discount for my fair and honest review.

Classic Look!

This is a nice pair of Oxford dress shoes. I bought them for my husband to wear to church. He was really impressed with the quality and the classic look of the shoe. He said that they are lightweight, flexible, and very comfortable. The patent leather has a very glossy and shiny finish; it reflects light beautifully. The shoes arrived in individual wrapped cloth bags for protection – very impressive. My husband said they are nicer than the pair of shoes he rented for our daughter’s wedding and he would have loved to have had a pair like these when he was in the Air Force. I highly recommend!

Great for military, ROTC cadets, CAP cadets

This is a great pair of glossy Oxford dress shoes. My son uses them for his civil air patrol uniform. They are high quality and very glossy. They fit a little big, but only about half a size or so. I'd suggest buying a size lower if you are between sizes. They are comfortable and look good with his uniform. You can also use them as dress shoes for church or other formal events; great for those in the military or ROTC cadets.

Was looking for a professional shoe that looked great however was comfortable to wear on my feet all day. I received these shoes and was very impressed simply based on the packaging, they came in a standard shoe box however when i opened the box each shoe was individual wrapped in a cloth bag for protection. The were very well packaged to prevent and scratches or scuffs which was nice as it would have been a huge disappointment to receive brand new shoes with marks all over them from shipping. Often times with new shoes I find them very uncomfortable until they are fully broken in however with these shoes straight out of the box the fit like a glove. I love the looks of these shoes the high gloss finish screams high class and professionalism. Disclaimer: this product was received at a discount in trade for my honest review.

Nicer than most honor guard shoes

Great shoot, great quality and very sharp looking. I normally wear an 11 wide, so that's what I ordered, however these ran large. Have to send back to get the 10 1/2 wide.
