Product Description

Reveal in supreme comfort with the SKYSCAPE HARMONY slip on from REEBOK.

Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes.

UPDATE 7/4/15: I wore three pairs of these shoes while pressure washing the driveway and sidewalks. They were FILTHY with dirt and mud. Threw them in the washer, let them air dry, and they are as good as new! I love these shoes!
    -------
After buying several pairs of the Skyscape lace-up shoes, I bought a pair of slip-ons to wear on a flight. Love them! They are perfect for travel as they are comfortable to walk in, and they slip off and back on easily.

The Skyscape shoes are some of the most comfortable I have ever owned. Although I do not have the shoe obsession that many of my gender possess, I own six pairs of Skyscape shoes (four lace-up and two slip-on). I wear them all the time.

What you might want to know about fit: I usually wear a 7 Wide. In the lace-up versions of these shoes, I bought a 7-1/2 M because W is not available and I hoped that going up a half size would give enough room for my wide feet. They fit great. Many people say the slip-ons run large, so I bought 7M. They fit well when wearing thin socks or no socks, but they are a little snug when wearing thicker crew socks.

I'm kind of surprised at the high ratings for this shoe. Mine arrived today, and I've been wearing them around the house for several hours trying to decide whether to keep them. I ordered half a size smaller than usual, based on recommendations, and the fit seems snug, but not uncomfortable. I probably couldn't wear a sock with them, but there is almost an inch and a half length to the end of the shoe at the big toe area. My main complaint is that they don't seem to have sufficient foot cushioning, particularly under the big toe area, and they are HOT to wear....I mean really hot. There are two little air holes on the side, but in the area closer to the toes the fabric feels extremely hot...like there's no breathing. I really like the style, although I think a cream or gray sole would look better, but I just don't think these shoes will actually work for walking shoes. I bought a pair of Sketchers Go Walk shoes that are a lot better quality and retail for about the same price....or less!

These shoes are so comfortable and a great fit for me. I'm so happy to have found them. I even ordered an extra pair to use in my house instead of slippers because they are so comfortable and have good foot support. I also purchased the Skyscape Fuse shoes, which are equally fabulous. The only difference is the Harmony shoe is easier to put on and take off than the Fuse with the shoestrings. I love how lightweight they are and they are even machine washable.

As I write this, it is November 11. I've worn these shoes almost every day since mid-June. So, 5 months. They've held up GREAT. I will concede there are a few stitches torn on the inside of one foot (where the upper meets the rest of the shoe), but it's only a few, didn't show up until after *months* of daily wear, and it hasn't gotten worse. (And only I can tell.) It's still my favorite shoe. I've recommended it to at least 2 friends.

They are amazingly lightweight. They're also very cushion-y, not only in the sole but also with the (neoprene-ish) material that makes up the body of the shoe. I've worn them as slippers before, even when I could have gone barefoot. (and, hell, I work from home, so I literally *could* wear slippers if I wanted to, but I wear these instead.) Once put them on in a hotel room after a long day with a client in "real" shoes, and it was like heaven. The fabric hugs your feet just so.

Somehow, it holds its shape great without having any rigid materials in it - also great in that I can't imagine this shoe giving anyone a blister. Even if your heel rubs against the back all day (it shouldn't), it isn't like rubbing against a hard backing. (I have a pair of "Skechers Women's Good Life Fashion Sneaker" that I bought at the same time. Blisters every damn time I wear them. I was going to return them and get another pair of these instead, but I missed the return window. Damnit.)

Also, the machine washability is exactly as advertised. I've washed them several times (mostly air-dried, though once machine-dried, I believe), and the outside absolutely looks like new. (The inside? Not really. But who cares?)

Size-wise, they do probably run large. I usually need a wide, but the regular width fits me fine.

I'm not someone who typically writes reviews, but I felt like it was important to write one for this product, as it's been a miracle product for me. I'm a wedding photographer and have been shooting weddings for 9 years. Every weekend between the months of May and September, I'm on my feet and walking (approximately 6 miles per wedding, on average), lugging around heavy gear in unpredictable terrain (I do a lot of outdoor weddings). And after every wedding, I'd go home, remove whatever shoes I had on, count the blisters on my feet and take prescription strength ibuprofen for the pain in my arches and heels. Even shoes I've worn for years, that have been broken in, would still leave blisters and have me crying by the end of the day. So then, I switched to wearing multiple shoes over the course of an 8-12 hour wedding. After every 3-4 hours, I'd swap to a new pair, since a friend had tipped me off that switching throughout the day might help my feet feel more supported. Unfortunately, it didn't help... I've bought Danskos (which are ugly) and Munros (who are less ugly). I've done inserts and gel pads. I've taken recommendations from friends... Still, I could never find a shoe that was stylish enough for weddings or supportive enough to get me through a wedding day.

    UNTIL THESE SHOES.

These shoes have literally changed my life. They have been incredible on wedding days (already photographed 4 weddings in these babies)! They not only hold up well in rough terrain, but they provide unbelievable cushion and support! I was not expecting them to be this fabulous, but truly, they are... I actually just bought two more pairs, so that as these wear out, I have more to replace them. I'm SO hoping that Reebok never stops manufacturing these shoes. They're just unreal.
