Our home depot discontinued a different brand of fruit and nut, and since I've always had great experiences with wagner's I decided to try this one out. It comes in a small enough bag that there's just no risk trying it out.

What can I say... the birds go crazy for this and even squabble over it. I have both a window feeder and ground feeder and have noticed some of the blackbirds and great tailed grackles will actually swoop in and take some of the nuts.

I didn't realize there were raisins in this blend, which is great because I actually wanted to buy some to add to the feeder, and even better that they're already mixed in with the seed. The only negative is I would prefer more raisins, but that's an easy fix if I add extra raisins in myself.

The bag is resealable and it was only on one order that I received a bag that was difficult to open by hand, but this didn't bother me as I store the food in containers and did not need to reuse the bag. Other orders were fine, with no bag issues.

Just to point out also - this food contains a blend of smaller millet seeds, sunflower seeds, fruit and nuts. I usually mix this food with 3 other blends of foods, but if needed this could easily be put out in a feeder on it's own as it has enough variety in the bag.

This is on my list of foods to stock up on!!

Edit: For some reason this food has now doubled in price? It was always $9.98?!!

Unfortunately the bag of Wagner's Nutty Fruity Harvest Wild Bird Food Blend that I received was punctured in transit and the seed leaked out of the bag and was loose inside of the Amazon shipping box, I managed to put the little seed that was left (less than a pound) out for the birds, but the birds did not really seem to care for it all that much. They really enjoyed Wagner's seasonal and classic blends in the past but they don't seem to care for this particular blend. The only visitors that stopped by were doves and nuthatches. It's been sitting on the ground for a few days now. The squirrels won't even touch it for some reason. This blend is from what was left in the bag, mostly sunflower seeds, I did not see a whole lot of white millet or fruits. There is a decent amount of peanuts though.

This bird feed is wonderful. I just bought another bag for my window feeders. Never saw so many birds! They love this stuff! I went to a local birds unlimited when I ran out and got a bag of something popular. Not popular here. The enthusiasm dropped anc although they ate it, they weren't as happy and not so many showed up. So I bought this to mix in with that other food. I think it may be the fruit they love!

I filled up my feeder with this blend this afternoon and I probably have 30 cardinals fighting over it now. It's a little expensive but on occasion it's a nice treat for them. House finches, chickadees and tufted titmice are also trying to work around the cardinals to reach it.

Seems like a good blend, not a lot of filler stuff that the birds really don't like. Will buy again.

This blend has proven very popular with every variety of bird that visits, and its cost is comparable to any quality blend. Unfortunately I failed to pay attention to ingredients listed and unexpectedly found that cashews are part of the blend. I acquired an extreme allergic reaction to cashew years ago in South America which puts me at risk using it. Great product.

I was initially skeptical about paying this much for bird seed. But it attracted two woodpeckers and an Indigo Bunting (I think it was an Indigo Bunting -- maybe a Grosbeak) in addition to the usual crowd. And the birds seemed to really like it a lot better than bird seeds that are heavy on cracked-corn. So I have to say it worked as advertised!

What a horrible product. take a good look at the picture. I suspect many, if not all, of the positive reviews are lies. The easy open bag could not be opened with mortal strength... a knife worked. the bag contents were disgusting and filled with maggots and mold! I threw the contents of the bag into the woods and nothing would touch it. Not birds. Not squirrels. It looks like its a flawed product, the Nutty seems alright, but I think the Fruity added moisture to the bag to allow the contaminated seed to support rot and insects. The bag says satisfaction guaranteed. I plan to hold them to it. Be aware and be warned... buy your seed elsewhere.

Update - contacted company, money refunded.
