You get what you pay for. These are cheap in price because they are cheap in plastic. Fairly flexible, and not the sturdy plastic you get for more expensive ones. If you are a person who likes to wash and re-use plastic cutlery, these are not what you want. Perfect however for soft foods, like birthday cake and ice cream. I would not put much faith in actually cutting harder foods with them though.
