Really, I'd give this 4.5 out of 5. I was skeptic at first: it's small and Mooer wasn't a company I'm familiar with.
However, this thing rocks. It does a whole lot for being so small.
It's built very sturdy (no plastic exterior).
Gets pretty spacey with the added reverb knob.
I also think it's kinda cool that the whole pedal lights up when engaged.
It takes up minimal space on the pedal board and takes the standard 9V Ac adapter (or daisy chain it to your Boss Tu-2)
My only complaint is the same complaint I have with some EHX or other high end, boutique pedals: why not make the switch true bypass and click-less? It's a $20 fix, but for the money a good pedal will cost, it should be a standard feature.
Really though, super surprised and excited about adding it to my pedal line up.
Also, it won't break the bank compared to other pedals that do less or the same, just not as well.

Wow, this things sound is super clean. No noise emirates after engaging.
To top it off, it's super tiny (about 2"x2").
It's great that the knobs are placed horizontally at the top edge of the pedal so you don't accidentally move them with your foot.
My only wish would be to have a bit of sustain added to the knob lineup, but for the money, the solid build (metal casing) and sound quality, it's a great pedal (true bypass to boot).
On a side note, I also think it's pretty dang cool that almost the whole top of the pedal lights up when activated, but that has nothing to do with the quality. It is a nice perk though.

I have owned this tremolo pedal for almost a month. When I purchased it, I didn't realize this tremolo pedal didn't have an internal cavity to hold a 9 volt battery to power the pedal. To power this pedal you will have to purchase an electric wall plug that has a negative polarity tip. This fact is nowhere listed in the product description. If you go to the manufacturer's website you cannot find a power source to purchase or even a third party recommendation. I found this very unhelpful. I gave this product 2 starts for that reason alone. After doing some searches, I discovered that Planet Waves makes a 9 volt adapter that can power this pedal. Here is the link to Amazon's version of this product. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00191WVF6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

After the power source arrived and I was finally able to test the sound pallet, I was underwhelmed. I found the unit very small. With the guitar cables plugged in the input and output there was very little room to grasp the plug to unplug the power supply. Admittedly, I have large fingers, but it shouldn't be that hard to plug or unplug the power plug without removing the patch cables. I found the 3 adjustment knobs to be very small to turn and because of that you don't need to turn it more than a millimeter in either direction to change the parameters a significant amount. If I had this pedal mounted on a pedal board I would not be happy. I had to pickup the pedal and hold it in my hand to make adjustments to find the sounds I was seeking from the tremolo. I can't imagine how difficult this would be if you decided to use this in a performance situation and wished to tweak the sound during the soundcheck to dial in the sound you wanted.

Pros
*It is well build.

I keep this thing on a clean boost (no gain) and it is phenomenal for its size.
Pros:
1) compact (minimal space on a pedalboard)
2) clean tone (no hiss or fuzz when engaged)
3) accepts the standard Ac adapter (9v) so it can be daisy chained off of a boss Tu-2 tuner.
4) knobs to adjust the characteristics are not on the same plane as the engage switch (which I love- this keeps one from accidentally moving a knob with my foot when engaging/disengaging the pedal)
5) not a huge plus, but a nice bonus is that the pedal lights up. Icing on the cake.
6) no pedal "clicks" when engaging or disengaging...love this trait.
7) affordable and at the same time comparable in quality to higher end boutique pedals like EHX or Earthquaker Devices.
8) Metal chassis- sturdy stuff.

Cons:
1) with gain added to the signal, it does get a bit hissy, but no more than a EHX Big Muff or a Mig Muff Pi Germanium.

Why are there no reviews of this pedal ANYWHERE?!!! I bought it. It's decent. For the money, it does sound pretty good. The Room setting is all that is worth your time. The Spring setting is absolute crap. Instead of the signature "sproing" sound you get when attacking the strings on a spring reverb (or any other reverb pedal I've played), you get this farty sounding fake stuttery effect for a brief moment and then a choppier decay than Room. You will agree that Spring sounds like a poorly engineered afterthought.
However, Room is quite versatile for use on subtle room sounds to cut the dry sterility, all the way to Explosions in the Sky type Ambient decays. I have a Strymon BlueSky and I A/B'd this pedal to that. For short-tailed reverbs, I would put the Room setting up against the Strymon any day. For super wet, long-tailed delays, it still holds its own quite well, but isn't quite as lush or complex as the Strymon. A strong consideration is its price being a small fraction of Strymon pedals and coming acceptably close in tone, and its very small size. May not win in the studio, but live - no one will hear the difference. 3 stars for the joke of a Spring setting. Otherwise, I'd have given it a 4.
