I have had these shoes for less than 3 months and the material is already separating from sole/cracking. It looks like the adhesive is actually just failing at the high stress point where the material must flex during use.

I have a pair of Adidas Barricade 6's since 2010 and they are still solid. While I only used them at the gym to play racquetball and did not play tennis in them (in fact they haven't been worn outside), the shoe is still in almost perfect condition wino issues at all.

The 2015 version of the shoe appears not to live up to its predecessor.

They are nice. Especially if you have flat feet and pronation/overpronation issues. If you are just starting to get into shape I'd honestly try something with more ankle support like a mid or high top. If you're strong and can carry your weight they are perfect.

I have been away from Adidas Tennis shoes for quite some time, but these are absolutely fantastic shoes! I'm a 4.0-4.5 player and even though I'm north of 50, I still make the "running" game a big part of my play. I weigh almost 210 lbs so the "light weight shoes" are not an option--they simply cannot provide the support I need.

After doing some extensive research, Adidas were purported to have great arch support, a fairly true fit and excellent support/cushion. I have found all of these to be true. The shoes do fit quite close to what you would expect with the exception they are slightly "short" in the toe box. I usually wear 11D but my next order will be an 11.5 D just for the little bit extra added room (BTW, the length between sizes is just slightly more than 1/8" to 3/16' in length).

The shoes are made extremely well--what you would expect from Adidas. The materials are flexible and for me, I wore them to three plus hours of play right out of the box! If you do not have the mass I have, you may have a different experience, but I doubt you would. The materials are quite supple. The sole is great for hard courts--if you have the ability to play on Har-True or clay, the soles would last for an very long while. The lacing is comfortable; the only draw-back (no pun) is there are no "heel-snug" holes for the laces. Given the fact the heel-cup in this shoe conforms to the heel extremely well, this wasn't an issue.

For me, I'll get about 4+ months of 2-3 times a week solid play out of these shoes. Remember my "mass" (I will not describe myself as heavy!) tends to crush the support out of the shoe after that much wear--even though the shoes look like new at the end of my use of them! Fantastic shoe!

The 'flower' design on the inside of the foot is made of harder plastic material, so whenever you make a step, it makes a 'fold' and the fold digs into your foot. It is very uncomfortable. They are going back.

Shoes fit as expected. The top of the shoe is a bit on the stiff side, so do not expect them to fit like a glove. The outsole is wide, so they offer good stability. The inside heel of the shoe has this almost sandpaper-like texture to it. It doesn't bother me at all, and maybe it is there for grip. But you definitely want to wear socks that at least go to your ankle.

These shoes are neither heavy, nor are they light. I haven't had any problems with them. Frankly, I do not even notice them, so that is good.

These shoes look better in pictures -- they are not really stylish, there are other better options for that. But as tennis shoes, I've never had one problem with them and the they have very good traction on clay courts.

I returned the Barricade 2015 because it runs a half size smaller than the size I normally order. I ordered a half size larger and Barricade 2015 is a fantastic shoe and it is just what I am looking for great support and a perfect fit for me. The Barricade 2015 runs narrower and that is perfect since I have a narrow feet. I was looking for a replacement for my Nike Ballistec 4.3 and this is closest that I have found.

This is an excellent shoe! I had the previous one that just was exhausted. Very comfortable, almost no break in period needed. The ONE thing that I have an issue with this shoe is I now experience heel pain after playing tennis after wearing these shoes. I don't know if I got a half size too big, getting up after driving, or waking up in the morning I get intense heel pain that only goes away by walking. That is my only concern with this shoe, other than that a phenomenal product.

The insole of 2015 Barricade model is disappointing. It is too thin, and easily became tangled under my feet. I have used 15+ pairs of Barricade tennis shoes since Barricade II. This issue with insole is first time ever happened to me.
