I ordered these because I'm always misplacing my tape measure, and this way, I can keep one in my purse, another in the bathroom, another in the kitchen "junk" drawer, etc. I also ordered them because they measure up to 72" -- most small purse-size retractables measure 60" or less.

Figured the price was low enough that if the quality wasn't great, it wouldn't be a huge issue.

I needn't have worried -- the quality is excellent for the size and cost. The tape is a flexible plastic-coated cloth, and retracts with the push of a button. I know these are listed as "disposable," but I'm confident that each one will last a good long time as long as it's not handled too roughly.

Definitely exceeded my expectations -- would gladly purchase again, and recommend to others looking for similar items.

Works fine, retracts. Nothing notably superior about it. After only short use, no longer fully retracts the tape into itself, leaving an inch or so hanging out. Still, works fine. Just a tape measure. Still have 5 more if it fails...

Great price. Small yet handy. They automatically wrap themselves back up so you aren't standing there sloppily trying to wrap up 4 feet of messy tape. I work with kids and need to take measurements of head and waist circumference, so these are great and convenient. I love that they came in a pack like this because everyone in the hospital needs them and we are always snatching up eachother's measuring tapes. Now we are nice and stocked.

We use these to measure our catch on fishing trips. Conditions can be harsh-- wet, sandy, salty, dirty, slimy-- so we didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that would eventually get damaged. These little tape measures are just what we needed-- small, accurate and cheap. With six to a pack, we can keep one in each place we need it and have a few to spare.
