Save your hard earned money and buy something else. Just like you, I read the great reviews on this USB Car charger and bought not one, but two!! It looks great, I mean... certified by apple... and a lifetime warranty? No brainer. When I received this charger, it looked great. The build quality was exceptional. It felt sturdy and solid. It didn't feel cheap. After 30 days of use, the charger stopped working. I had given my second charger to my wife and she confirmed that hers didn't even work from the start! I was just going to cut my loss, but I figured I jump on here to warn you guys. I will be requesting a refund ASAP. Be warned!

This looks like a typical generic charger, but it is anything but. I received a review sample and spent some time testing this charger and am impressed. The main thing that sets it apart is the intelligent electrical protection. It has current overload protection like many other higher end chargers, but also detects overheating.

Another safeguard that this has that many other chargers lack is when your device is fully charged the charger kicks down into minimal charging mode. That feature will help to extend your battery life, which for me in important because I own an iPad and a Samsung Tab 3, both of which have sealed internal batteries.

Other features that I love are the fact that this is a sealed unit, so the electrical components are not exposed to the salt air near where I live. What I mean by that is other chargers, and especially generic ones, can be disassembled by unscrewing the contact tip. This is supposed to allow you to change out an internal fuse if it fails. Most of the quality chargers - like this one - now feature a completely sealed design with the more sophisticated electrical protections that I mentioned.

If your vehicle has little extra room in the dash or console area this is compact at 1.2 x 2.4 inches. It will fit a lighter receptacle in even the tightest places. The two ports on this charger are rated at 1 and 2.1 Amps respectively. The 2.1 Amp port charges my tablets as quickly as the OEM chargers that came with them, so I trust the claimed specs.

Bottom line: this may look like a generic charger, but do not let appearances fool you. It's one of the more sophisticated chargers that I have tested.

These days it is almost essential for cars to have multiple ports for charging needs. That's why I like this small dual port charger for the car.

What I like:
- Small
- Two ports
- One port for phones
- One port for tablets
- Different colors to choose from
- Fits nice
- Good price

What I don't like:
- It can feel a little too lightweight and plasticy. Only time will tell if this is durable.

So far so good with this charger. I have family with kids and we like to use our iPad on the road. It is nice to have the ability to charge my iPad and have it ready for kids movies.

What is it and what does it do?:
This product is a USB 2 Port Car Charger that is suitable for charging a wide range of small to medium sized devices that support USB charging.

Quality:
The product is made of very high quality material that is fit for purpose. It's well built, elegant and stylish. The thinner section that fits into your car cigarette charger port is made of gloss black plastic whilst the wider port area is made of a material that resembles silver and enhances its overall look significantly.

Design:
With 2 different ports to choose from (1.0A and 2.4A), there is ample room for all the devices that you have in the car (1-2 people). The distance between each port is adequate for most devices. It's relatively small size (about the size of your thumb in length and width) enables it to be placed directly into your car USB connection port without impeding on your driving abilities.

Performance:
The product fitted nicely into the USB cigarette port with a small amount of force and displayed a blue light on and near to the 2.4A port. This indicated that the unit was active and ready for the 1st device. I was very excited to receive this and when it came, I plugged it into my car and it doesn't work! I've tested it in different car plugs and nothing is happening. So disappointed. Would like a refund.

i once wrote a positive review on this charger but after ONLY ONE DAY it doesnt work. the charger will charge but will turn on and off quickly with no end. do not buy this charger, it looks high quality but is not
