The charger was defective and did not work. I returned it to Amazon and received a refund without any issues. I have my doubts that this was an authentic Samsung product. I would not recommend this product.

BUYER BEWARE. These are junk. They last only briefly before ceasing to function. The message about "using original charger" begins to pop up, then they stop charging at all. In fact, the phone shows that the charger is plugged in (electric symbol over battery) but the percentage charge continues to drop. The best bet may be to buy truly OEM cords from your local Verizon (or whoever your carrier is) store.

Charger was DOA. I desperately needed the cables, and the charger was more of a nice to have. Not worth the trouble to return the entire order. Wish they could just replace the charger, and let me keep the cables.

I should have paid attention to some of the reviews. Did not work at all on my Samsung Galaxy 5 phone. Just dead, nothing. Do not risk it. I threw it out. too much trouble to return it.

Cables and adapter are not new as stated in description. They are used and and it is noticeable. There are multiple scratches and dings on the adapter and ends of the cables. But they do work.
