    The backpack arrived damaged. There were places along the zipper & pocket that were not sewed together at all & it was not something I could repair without taking off the entire zipper. My kindergartener was not happy when we discovered that it was damaged the night before the first day of school.

    Also, kind of a pain that I could not get a replacement, I could only buy a new one (from a different source) & then wait for it to come in before I return the damaged one.

    Pack came with frayed zipper pulls that made me think this was a return however there was no other signs of wear. The girls would not let me return it due to their frozen craze so we are living with it. B

    My daughter loves this backpack, but it made it about two months before it is now totally unuseable. Sometime during the first month the inside pocket cam apart like other people are reporting. That was no big deal and we still used the backpack, but today I noticed there is a huge hole on the front where the stiching has come apart and the picture started to rip. It can not be repaired and now I am forced to buy another backpack about 2 months into the school year. Not cool at all and a waste of money. I guess you get what you pay for and at $12 I only got 2 months of use.

    My 3 year old daughter was SO excited to get this backpack because now she is all ready to "go to school now." She loves her "Frozen" backpack. The design is very cute and glittery, which she loves. It is perfect size for her with a big and small zipper pockets and 2 tiny mesh pockets on each side. She occasionally has difficulty zipping and unzipping the backpack because it gets stuck on the material on the inside of the bag. That is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise this backpack seems very well made and can't beat the price.

    Like so many others my girls have be swept up by frozen fever. Despite being steeped in a never ending barrage of Elsa and Olaf embossed items I purchased this for my seven yr old daughter.
    It looks great, the colors are bright and bold. The construction seems solid and the fabric pretty sturdy. My toddler decided to zip up the cat for her big sister to take to school for show and tell yesterday and understandably our kitty was not overly happy about this little adventure. This backpack was able to escape damage from an extremely pissed of cat so it seems pretty sturdy but i'll update this if there are any issues with regular use. I received this product for free to give an honest and unbiased review

    Update- Daughter packed for an overnight stay with a friend and the zipper has torn away at the seams...... luckily I am handy with a needle but we didn't get much use out of it before it started tearing apart.

    This is definitely not an item that you would purchase if you expected your child to take it back and forth from school every day and have it last more than half a year.

    I purchase my kids school backpacks from a much more reputable online source that guarantees them for at least one year... But my daughter desperately had to have a frozen backpack and so I purchased this one to use as her "busy bag"

    This one we keep stocked with her leap pad, headphones, markers, scissors and a drawing pad. It's always very lightly loaded and goes with us on trips when we have time to kill, like at the doctors office for the waiting room or on a car ride that is longer than a half an hour or while waiting during karate class or dance class/music lessons. It often rides in the very back of our van ready for use. I purchased it in the late fall and by December the front of the Pack had began to de-laminate, with the image separating from the fabric at the Seam. This backpack has what I would consider very light wear from a seven-year-old girl and has not ever been taken back and forth to school loaded with anything (like a sharp edged binder, or a pair of school tennis shoes or boots/snow pants).

    I am disappointed with the performance but it's probably what you would expect from a licensed piece of merchandise from an unknown manufacturer. I would consider this no better than any backpack you could purchase at your local big box store, and it was definitely overpriced because it was a frozen item. I can recommend it for the squeals of excitement on arrival, but I cannot recommend it for durability or value. I am a mom to three kids from ages 7 to 2, and they are the best product testers I've ever met :-)
