Colors are true to picture. When I received ,rather than just run through the dryer to remove package odor, I washed in cold water. Used the most gentle cycle I have; dried 50% on "air" and 50% on warm air, not hot. Looks like it arrived, only smells now like spring air.

I wanted to cheer up our master and it has both a king bed and a twin size daybed, so I bought two, one for each bed. When they first arrived and I pulled them out I was a bit nervous that perhaps the colors were a bit too bright and it might look too kid-ish. However, once I laid the king sized one out on the bed in our master bedroom it looked really great and not childish at all. So, I washed both and paired both with a green bedskirt Wrap Around Style Easy Fit Elastic Bed Ruffles for King and Queen Size Bed, Green and they look great together. (FYI - on the bed skirt, they didn't have twin size, so I tied a knot in the back elastic of one and it worked great for the twin day bed) Granted, it's only been washed once so far, but the colors fully held up and the fabric is nice and soft. It feels very cozy at night and makes it even harder to get out of bed in the morning :o)

This quilt really brightened up the room and it looks super cheery in there now. Very tropical and attractive. It would be a great set for a vacation home, guest room and (like mine...) for your master bedroom. My husband likes it as well as it reminds him of holidays on tropical islands, so it must not be too girly or he'd have said something. My 10 year old daughter really likes this quilt as well, so I may end up having to buy one for her too. Guess we'll see about that......

Love, love, love it! The happy colors and print are fun to wake up to. Adds an energetic, refreshing, spring/summer look to the bedroom. Also, nicely made and durable cotton fabric are easy to care for. The tag says to dry clean, but I've washed and dried it in the oversize machines at a laundramat. Used Woolite and cold water, then dried on the high Cotton setting. No fading or shrinkage.

A bit disappointed! I received the quilt three days ago, and it looks like the picture however :
Good things: The dimensions matched as described. The colors matched as the picture. It is just perfect for temperatures around 65 - 75 ( not too hot no too cold).
Disadvantages: 1) I received the quilt three days ago and used it and today I decided to wash to get rid of " brand new smell" and huge mistake, after wash it came up all fuzzy and some of the stitches tear apart. 2) For the price I paid, I was expecting a quilt of better quality. I am not very happy.
5-29-15 ( Updated) I was just checking the pillow cases and the stitches are tearing apart too, I ll suggest do not buy this item for the asking price, to expensive for the quality
