This product is really a heat protection spray and not a hairspray like the description states. It left my hair really shiny, which was a good thing but it has no hold. However, it's really expensive and for my shoulder length hair, there were only about 5 uses from the small size can. This makes this product extremely expensive to use. There are other products out there that work just as well and cost a lot less. Tresemme's new runway series Get Sleek heat protection spray is one. I have tried several LP products and while they all worked pretty well, they come in such small containers that there aren't even a month's worth of uses in any of them. For someone with short hair, it may be more economical. But for me, it simply won't work. For one thing, there is an excellent alternative. The new hair primers contain thermal protection and control frizz remarkably well (even in Florida where I live and where the humidity is off the chart). I like two: Bumble and Bumble's Invisible Oil primer and Beyond the Zone's Smooth Criminal (which is a quarter of the price of the BB). Using a primer negates the necessity of using the Restore product. And both primers last more than a month, even for me. I don't mind spending money for something that truly works, that's not the problem. My problem comes in having to buy an expensive product more frequently because they come in teeny sizes. That irks me to no end! I feel like I get ripped off twice; once in forking out the sum and the second time when I have to repurchase after two weeks. No way! So although this spray did leave my hair in beautiful condition, I refuse to spend $4 per use. So I'm taking off a star for the price. If money is no object and I can't convince you to try a primer, then by all means try Restore.Read more ›

Don't buy this travel size from this seller. You'll pay a few pennies more for the full size from another seller. Some Amazon sellers think people can't read. And they certainly think they can hoodwink customers into paying a lot for a little. This travel size sells for $14 on the Living Proof website (free shipping, no minimum order, free returns and a sample) so what this seller is asking is almost the full size price. If you want to try it out, buy from LP. Otherwise, order the full size from one of the other sellers who are asking less than the list price of $26. This is a great product that protects from heat and adds natural looking shine without being greasy or oily. It has no hold, just thermal protection, but it is a really good product from a fantastic company (I use LP Perfect Hair Day s/c and love it). It's definitely a five star product for me, however, I'm giving this seller one star because whoever it is, is trying to rip people off and I absolutely hate that.

I have been so happy with all of the other Living Proof products I have tried, that on a whim I thought I'd splurge and try this one.
I have always used the drugstore standby which I though did a good job, until I tried the LP version! What a difference! One pass over my hair with the flat iron and it not only looked smooth but shiny, and lasted all day (and this on colored mid life hair!) I will definitely be purchasing this again.

I am a big fan of some of the Living Proof products, but this one is mediocre - at least for my hair. I relax my hair and use a curling iron. This product is okay - but I don't love the way it feels on my hair before or after curling.

Ok, it drys my hair a little bit. I keep using it because its UV protection. I guess I had great expectations, but this is just as good as any heat protection product you get at Walgreens or CVS, therefore, I believe is over priced

Although a little pricier, this product does actually work well. I have fine hair in the front from coloring and straightening. I have been using this product now for a few months and it has definitely made a difference in strengthening my hair. I wouldn't use hot iron's or blow dry with out it anymore!
