The 4" tall version is suitable for eye and lip pencils, as well as brushes, lip glosses and taller lip crayons. I looked high and low for something to organize eyeliners, and am not willing to pay $25 for one that won't hold them all. This is a nice second choice. It could be improved by providing removable dividers. But I solved that by adding a piece of cardboard to separate lip crayons from glosses.

The 4" stated height is the reason I picked this particular product. I was very disappointed to discover that the entire front and back length of it is only 3.25" tall. It is 4.25" tall on the side handles. Had I known the true dimensions, I would not have made the purchase.

I find this to be a very versatile catch-all that can have many uses. Though it is described as a vanity tray, one can definitely use this anywhere in the house, to organize. The plastic used is sturdy and clear. The size exactly as described (12 inches). I find the compartmentalized catch all a great place to put your keys. A good product that can have many uses.

I previously purchased three of these to see if they would fit in my new bathroom drawers. I haven't had drawers in my bathroom for the last 18 years, but I recently remodeled that room, so I now have four deep drawers. I feel like putting my makeup in the bottom of one drawer wastes a ton of space, and nothing stays organized...so I spend my time looking for products instead of using them. I was glad they fit when I received the first three - I was really stoked to figure out I could also stack three on top of each other and still close the drawer. Back to order six more, so I had enough for one drawer.

Shipping is super-freaking-sonic. I order, I blink, they arrive. (I still don't know how Amazon does that sometimes.) All arrived in good shape, in both shipments. They are a nice, sturdy acrylic - not too flimsy, but not unforgiving, either. They have a tiny bit of "give". The handles make them exceptionally convenient - I can pull these organizers in and out like I'm a member of Cirque du Soleil. I can also locate all my different cosmetics in style that resembles a psychic.

Having nine probably sounds a little excessive, but they work well together. I wound up moving two of them to a different drawer - and those now hold makeup brushes, keeping the brushes clean and organized. One of the reasons I like the multiple organizers in each drawer, instead of using some sort of trays, is that the stacks of organizers are able to "float" on top of each other at different levels. Using trays wouldn't work that way. I can't say enough about these great little cubbies of organization perfection. Since they are clear, you can also easily find things that tend to sink to the bottom. I'll be buying more of these for my closet...if I ever get that far.

(Organizing is not my thing - so I like finding easy items that serve multiple purposes. These fit that description!)

Nice heavy plexiglass type material. Has built in handles on each end. It measures 12"x3"x3". It has three compartments measuring 3" square. I tried using this on my vanity top. I didn't like the clear look with all my cosmetics and medications showing. It made my vanity look very cluttered. But, I love using it on my desktop! It nicely holds note paper, pencils and pens, paper clips and etc. It actually makes my desktop look less cluttered!

So I like it, just not for my vanity.

I'm so glad I bought this because they are the perfect place for my brushes. I'm going to be honest though I was expecting this to be a lot bigger in person I feel like the pictures were a misrepresentation of the size which kind of upset me but I got over it lol and came to like it! If you have a ton of brushes I would buy something bigger because this will probably not hold them all.
