    These were horrible! My husband and I bought these for him to wear while we vacationed in Florida. We had three days of water activities planned and I thought he would like to wear these on the beach in between activities.

    I bought a different pair for myself that had treads on the sides of the shoes, which helped me walk through sand. These did not have that. They are mostly smooth with just a little treading on the bottom. There is a drawstring that allows you to adjust the size of the ankle part, which was good. They fit about as expected.

    He wore these for the first time on the beach. We had to drive 1.5 hours to the beach and he said they were comfortable enough to drive in. He then wore them for 30 mins on the beach (in and out of the ocean). Then he wore them (while still wet) while walking a few blocks. By the time we got back to the car he was complaining that the insoles were detaching themselves from the shoe. So basically he got a couple hours of wear that I could consider wear from "normal use" before the shoes started falling apart!!

    Two days later he needed them again so he sort of shoved the loose insoles back in the shoes and just dealt with it, but it was less than ideal. He thinks the glue / adhesive they used was not the best quality resulting in the problems.

    I used them once for rafting, and the insole (which was supposedly glued in) came off and began sliding around inside the shoe, causing sand and grit to get under the sole and rub against my feet for the duration of the trip.

    They are also not comfortable. The sole of the shoe is very thin, so if you're walking on a rocky area, prepare for pain. I had to wear these as we walked through the woods for a short time, and I could feel every single rock poking against my feet.

    The mesh also allows sand to get in and rub against your feet. I don't imagine a lot of people would like that, either.

    However, they are cheap. If you need some semi-disposable water shoes you'll only wear once, you might want to consider these. They went in the dumpster after I got into my dry clothes, because, obviously, I couldn't return shoes that had been worn in the river.

    Overall not a bad water shoe, it saved my feet a couple of times this past summer at the beach. (seashells, hot concrete and whatnot) I do however wish that the sizing was more clear. I bought my size according to the sellers charts, despite the reviews telling me to order just a little smaller. Mine ended up being a little bit too big than what I would like. It's not so much as I can't wear them but, if they were tighter it would be nicer. Mainly because it would reduce the amount of say something like sand getting inside the shoe.

    Im a swim teacher and I teach four days a week. I bought the men's shoes because they were cheaper and obviously they fit a little big but that is not my issue. The lining came out after one time. Now I still use them so my feet don't get cut up but for the two times I've used them I wouldn't buy a second pair.

    I ordered two different styles of these shoes and after about a half hour in water, the insole of the shoe came unglued in both pairs. This caused it to become folded up under the foot and made it uncomfortable to walk. We tried multiple times to flatten out the insole but it was of no use. I would not buy these again.

    These shoes are of very poor quality. The cushion insert came apart from the inside of the shoe in less than 30 minutes of walking on the beach in the shallow water. I tried wearing them without the insert, however the remaining glue stuck to my feet. I did not return them because it was not worth the effort.
