THE LIGHT IS BRILLIANT! BUT THE QUALITY IS BAD, A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO I BOUGHT A COUPLE OF THESE LEDS, (ONE IS STILL WORKING) FROM THE SAME RETAILER THAT OFFER THEM HERE, BUT THE QUALITY WERE BETTER; I BOUGHT A SECOND AND A THIRD SET HERE, THEY FAILED, AND THE LENSES FELL OFF. I EVEN HAD TO PAY TO PROFESSIONAL TO TAKE THE HEADLIGHTS OFF TO TRY TO REMOVE THE LENSES TRAPPED INSIDE THE HOUSING, WITH NOT SUCCESS!
LEDS ARE NICE, BRIGHTER, BUT VIBRATION MAKE THEM FAIL... PAY A BIT MORE AND GET PHILIPS OR OSRAM.... BUT I HAVE TO SAY... THESE JUNKY LEDS ARE BRIGHTER THAN ANYONE MENTIONED IN THESE LINES...BUT POOR CRAFTSMANSHIP RUINED THE WHOLE THING!

As another review noted above, a lens fell off of one of these bulbs of mine after only three days' use. I managed to recover the lens from the lighting housing using a string and a Scotch tape at the tip, but that was no fun. I am going back to an old-fashioned bulb now.

The second piece in the package not only lost the lens like the first piece (as reviewed above,), but also just died altogether. Having removed it, I noticed that the metal contact wire was falling apart. So it is not just the loose lens. The whole thing is poorly made. Caveat emptor!

These lights work well! They're as bright as you can expect with the number of led elements inside. Be advised though, these are end-fire lights. The beam of light shoots straight out of the lens, and does not provide a 360° pattern of light. The way the sockets mount above my 2008 Toyota Prius license plate mean that the beam of light shoots straight toward the rear of the hatch, not down into the lenses provided for the license plate. They are bright enough to work though.

For 8 bucks and some change I took the chance cause most of these LED go for at least 14.99 a piece and theyre both the same material and its bright due to the magnify lense on top of the smd led so it kinda gives that CREE LED look... bright and creap

These are now spares for another use. Quality is there but you should measure your existing bulbs before ordering. The base is the right # but the bulb is about 1/32" too long for the unit to go back into the housing on my F150 license plate fixtures. Luckily I had a different bulb set that was just a touch shorter that fit.

I've bought these bulbs to upgrade my stock ID plate bulbs and they are a great look. The bulbs are fairly brighter compare to regular LEDs. My biggest concern is to hope they last a decent time because it was extremely hard to install on my Acura MDX. Color style is about a 6000k look
