When I received these from Nordic Lifting I didn't expect too much from a pair of gym gloves, since the price is quite affordable I thought they'd be just a standard looking glove. But as usual they superseded my expectations and these weightlifting gloves are actually very nice looking, and material is very sturdy. In comparison to the Harbinger gloves we have they are similar but these nordic gloves are definitely a better buy. The material in the palm of the glove give a much better grip, and does not slide like many cheaper versions do. These are real leather and are likely to last a long time.

The gloves have a built in support wrap for some extra stability during training. It doesn't give as much support as regular stand-alone wraps do, but I think it's perfect for all-round weight lifting, gym and CrossFit workouts. Since the gloves offer a good amount of gripping ability and control of the weights/handles I think they're a good candidate for cross training, i.e. using them for different fitness activities.

I got the gloves in size M which fit me perfectly, to get the correct size and measurement I checked the sizing chart in the listing images, and I measured my hand accordingly. The model of glove looks like unisex, and the smaller sizes are good for women, and bigger ones for men. As with all my gym gear I prefer to match the colors up with each other, so I hope these will come in a few more color styles eventually, maybe orange or red stripes would be nice. I received the product for free as an old customer, and the review above is my honest opinion about the product.

Solid work out gloves. I have been using them for the past few months and the extra wrist support is really helping with my lifts. I have been a little more serious about my dead lifts and the extra grip I get from these gloves definitely help me put on some extra pounds on the power bar. The gloves fit nicely even though my hands are very small for a guy. The only problem I have with these is that it sometimes get tangled with all the stuff in my bag (headphones, keys, etc).

I actually use these as work gloves around my homestead... but of course, moving and stacking 40 large garden timbers can be construed as "cross training". ;)

And I downright, without reservation, love these gloves.

Like all leather products, a little breaking in is needed, yet they were wonderful even right out of the box. I have gone through dozens of traditional work gloves, the majority I never liked due to scratchy elastic or cumbersome construction. Even the few that I really liked never offered the finger flexibility these weight-lifting ones do. Nordic has a rather smart material mix of thick leather with a soft suede interior and surprisingly comfortable elastic points around the wrist, back of the hand, and finger/thumb points.

Oh, and the palm padding on these! Spot on grip-texture while protecting my hands from splinters and nail bits while removing old timbers. This may sound silly, but just wearing these make my hands feel more powerful.

Be sure to click on the measurement chart here on the product page (currently the 2nd one down in the product pictures). I actually never measured my hands before, but the chart is right on the money. I ordered my size and got the best glove fit I have ever experienced (well, nitrile gloves don't count).

I figure if these gloves can handle axe handles, garden timbers, tree removals, and all the other chores a homestead requires, then they certainly can handle your barbells and such!

THUS FAR, I am loving these! I lift heavy 5 days of the week and these are proving to be a quality pair of gloves. In the past, I would purchase whichever pair Wal-Mart had in stock (typically the Gold's Gym brand) and they would be completely tattered within 2 weeks. Instead of continually wasting money on poorly manufactured gloves, I spent a couple hours researching various brands and reading outside-of-Amazon reviews; these gloves received positive reviews on a variety of Top 10 lists. They offer flexible support for the wrists and the padding is just enough, without being too much. My knuckles swell in the mornings, so taking my wedding ring off each time I weightlift is a inconvenient ordeal; these gloves, however, protect my ring from damage, negating the need to remove it beforehand. I would definitely recommend these!

This a review from the 15-year-old son of Nga Duong.

Upon first use, these gloves had made it harder for me to maintain the grip and it hurt even more. I contacted customer support and Henrik was very nice. It was only until experimentation, however, that I figured how to use the gloves correctly. I needed my fingers not to pop out so much. The first picture is how I wear it.

This issue might be because I ordered the wrong size, but the gloves did fit snugly so I'm not sure.

But overall these gloves are really great! I don't get finger, palm, or wrist pain anymore when I'm lifting weights!
