    I love these shoes. They do run small because I have narrow feet and usually wear an 8 M or 8.5 N in closed-toe shoes. I had to get a 9 in these. I've never bought a 9 in my entire life, so they are definitely small. But, that's why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, because the average customer is not going to appreciate having to size up that much. Fortunately, I bought them in a department store (they were an impulse buy; I walked past the Steve Madden display, saw these shoes and had to try them on), so I kept trying on pairs until I found the perfect fit.

    I get so many compliments on these shoes. There is something kind of European about them---the way they look with capris, understated but interesting, comfortable and chic. They feel like slippers with heels. I totally recommend them, but you are going to go through some trial and error getting the perfect fit. All in all, well worth the effort.

    OK, Amazon is acting all suspicious about my review, and, frankly, I don't blame them because bogus reviews are incredibly annoying to people like me, who actually rely on reviews to help make point-of-purchase decisions.     I just love this shoe. Since receiving it have worn it so many times and received many compliments on it. Fits exactly to my size. Wish this shoe came in many colors. Just adore the style. For my age the heel isn't enormously high.

    My normal size is 8M; however, a few reviews stated that this shoes run small so I ordered 1/2 size bigger; 8-1/2M. I think this shoes runs true to size. 8-1/2 is a little lose; but I can use socks & make it work.

    I love these, bought them on a whim for $35 here on Amazon right before a very cross country trip/flight. At first, because I had to walk
    forever to get through the airport the tops of my feet were killing me like a charley horse ache so I took them off during most of my flight.
    I was worried when I got to my destination because I wouldn't be able to wear them like I had planned but after wearing them the next
    day and dealing with the pain they stretched out just enough to completely go away. I got a ton of compliments on them - they are pretty
    flashy (silver sparkles) - they are super lightweight but look heavy. I wore them with loose stretchy nice looking comfy pants to and from
    on vacation and then during the stay I wore them with my Pete & Greta JWLA dark charcoal and black pants. I got a great bargain and
    haven't seen them that cheap since. I would pay $69 for them, they are worth it. Almost forgot, I like my shoes oversized. I am a true 8.5 in these type of shoes but with these I had to wear socks or they'd slip off while walking...and I am sure with more wear (this winter because I live
    in Florida and wear sandals almost all year) these will be even looser.

    I really want to like these shoes, but the right shoe has a defect and isn't as high on the back of the heal as the left shoe and keeps slipping off my heal when I walk. They are really cute, but I can't live with this. The bummer is I didn't notice it until I wore them to work. When I tried them on when the arrived they felt fine and I got rid of the box. So I am going to see what Amazon can/will do about it as an exchange. Problem is when I try clicking the return and item box I keep getting a ooops they are having a problem message.

    After reading the reviews, I ordered a half-size up. I am usually an 8, and I think it would have fit, but the 8 1/2 is comfy and does not slip off. These are a bit "kooky" with the black, bronze, & silver- but still can be worn as a neutral. They are extremely comfortable, soft and stretchy. The sole is a rubber wedge, so it hits the ground with comfort. Sporty with jeans or a maxi skirt. This is a good brand, and the price was right. Very pleased with the purchase.

    This shoe does not come in a wide width, but since I ordered a similar pair of these shoes (a mule), I'd hope they would stretch with wear. I'm sure they will but if you have a wide foot, be prepared for some discomfort until you break them in. The shoe does have this memory foam padding that makes the sole of your feet feel really cushioned..
