    I have had a difficult time finding comfortable slide sandals like this one.
    This sandal has great arch support and looks handsome. The velcro strap does not protrude out to the side as other models do.
    My podiatrist recommends New Balance shoes. I love this sandal. I bought 3 pairs just in case they stop making them in the future.

    I have been a fan of the New Balance Mosie slide for several years...but it appears they no longer make them and this is a close replacement. I use these as slippers or my indoor shoes...kind of strange...but they work great with a pair of wool socks. I love them. They have very good arch support...you know it when you put them on. I can wear them all day in the house. They are lightweight and the strap is comfortable and adjusts easily. They also appear to be made quite well. They are a little sturdier than the Mosie. So far, I'm quite happy with them.

    Home run, New Balance! Bravo. Size up for half sizes. These are well made and extraordinarily comfortable. I use them as my slippers and round the house shoes. Compared to most similar slides, these have superior arch support, cushioning, and torsional stability. The underfoot part is actually a high tech laminate with a contoured foot support/cushion layer, a torsional support midsole layer, and a traction outsole. The Velcro strap is lined with wicking fabric and is very soft against the skin. They were comfortable out of the box, but it took a day to break in the strap material, so I could comfortably adjust it tight enough to keep the fit from being sloppy. I like the low-key styling and the lack of odd colors or garish logos. These look like they will last (not sure about the long-term durability of faux suede). The material is easy to clean.

    My only slight compliant applies to these and most similar slides, and is why I only rate it 4 of 5 stars. Namely, the foot bed material makes the sole of one's feet sweat. I get around that by wearing low socks during long periods in hot weather. The NB ones at least do have an embossed texture that lets the moisture evaporate quickly. But it would be better if NB used some absorbent, fast-drying synthetic foot-bed to keep the feet drier entirely.

    This was my first pair of slide sandals. usually wear flip-flop/thong sandals. These are very comfortable and socks don't get scrunched up like they do on flip-flops. I have taken a short walk in them and have driven the car in them. I didn't feel like they were coming off or prevented safe walking/driving thought I won't wear them for my normal walking/driving. They are comfortable and I can wear "all day long". I wear these in the morning before going out and in the evenings after returning. If I am home for the day, I will wear them also. They seem to be durable.

    Great arch support for a sandal, though I have flat feet so this is less important. Very well cushioned sandal for those of us who dislike the thong design (I walk on my toes, so I tend to pull the thongs out). Let's be honest, sometimes you need to wear socks with sandals - I do it when I need to quickly transition between muddy shoes and the sandals and back again. You can't do that with thong sandals, you can with these. They stay snug on my feet. The size is a bit smaller than the same size in shoes, but this is probably a good thing for sandals since you can trip over them if they have any room.

    Make sure you break these in before judging - it takes several days for these to mould to your feet.

    I'm not a sandal fanatic like some people. I just wanted something I could slip on quickly to wear after I got home from work and on weekends. I have pain in the ball of my feet and recurring plantar fasciitis, so I have problems with over the counter sandals. Overall comfort is not as good as I was expecting. I would prefer a softer foot bed or more padding. They would probably be fine if plantar fasciitis were my only problem. The arch support is good and they are wide enough for my EEEE feet. Considering many of the sandals I was comparing them with were twice as costly, these are probably a pretty good deal.

    These are the best slides i have discovered since new balance stopped making the old model i wore forever. I tried another pair of new balance slides and i didn't like the foot cushion material, way to slippery even when not wet. These are rubber with a tred that sticks to your feet so they never slip around, absolutely love them. They fit right and the width is perfect. Super comfortable.
