The Medimitt is so easy to put on and has effectively kept my dog from licking a wound on his paw. He is able to walk almost normally with this on. Each Medimitt lasts for 1-2 days before it's too dirty, although I often don't let him outside with it on, so each will last longer. The Medimitt falls down a bit, so that I have to pull it up & adjust the velcro, but that is quick and easy. There is an integrated wound pad--this is on the outside since the Medimitt arrives inside out, so all you have to do is reverse it.

My dog is a Great Dane mix who weights 100 lbs and the large fits well.

I also tried the Healers dog boot, but this stayed on for a few minutes at best, and he walked very awkwardly during that brief time. I tried using a sock, but he removed that, even when I used vet wrap (self-adherent medical tape) at the top. This taped sock method lasted a few hours and took much longer to get on him than the Medimitt. I highly recommend the Medimitt if you need to keep your dog from going after his paw because of a wound or allergies!!

When I purchased this, I thought it was for cats. Since I did know what size to get, it was way too large, and came off easily with our cat pulling at it. The bandage itself appears to be good quality. Just be sure you get the right size for your pet. These are apparently intended for use on dogs.

I bought these bandages to keep on hand in case our black lab ever injured herself. This weekend she cut her back paw on some sharp shale and these worked great! Easy to follow instructions and it kept blood from getting on my rugs. She also never tried to remove it even throughout the night so that tells me it must have been comfortable for her.

These were amazing for walking our dog after our pup licked off her paw pad. These breathable "socks" worked wonders by keeping the dirt and rocks out of her paw when she went outside. We used them inside a water proof walking bootie.
Pros: easy to get on, relatively breathable, Velcro stays put, doesn't cut off circulation, vet approved!
Cons: water resistant (not water proof)
