I purchased sandwich bags for each of my children a year ago. They've held up extremely well - I run them, inside-out, through the washing machine after each use, and occasionally they've ended up in the dryer as well, with no damage. These are my favorite bags because the material is water-resistant but not "crinkly." Also, the velcro closure runs ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE OPENING. I've seen more expensive bags with smaller closures - but lunchskins keep the kids' sandwiches fresh all morning, and nothing falls out of the bags!

Nice pattern/color choices, so each family member can choose their favorites. So far all of them have returned home! (now I'm buying snack bags)

The new school year started and it was time again to purchase new lunch snack/sandwich bags. For many reasons I am devoted to the idea of using a reusable bag instead of plastic sandwich bags.

This is my 2nd major purchase of these bags. After using multiple (I mean, I rotated LOTS) bags last year, the bags look really dingy and needed to be replaced. Last school year I bought from the actual company and this time I purchased from Amazon.

Pros:
- Reusable
- Good design
- Permanent markers dry instantly and don't streak or bleed into the fabric.

Cons:
- The interior stains very easily (both with hand washing and dishwasher cleaning)
- After just a couple washes the bag gets kind of crinkly
- When drying side to side, the Velcro from one, always sticks to the other

I bought this bag because I was looking for a reusable bag Made in the US. This bag came up in my search, and because country of origin was not listed on Amazon for this product, I did some research on other sites and this bag was listed as American Made. Unfortunately, when I received the bag, it said Made in China on the packaging. I returned this bag and replaced it with a Neat-os bag, made in LA.

If you are not worried about country of origin, the bag itself seemed fine. I didn't use it, so I can't review it in depth.

I love the idea of a reusable bag.. But since this just velcros shut it doesn't stop air from coming in or wet items or crums from leaking out. I have only used this a few times to stick a hard boiled egg or some whole kiwis in so the fuzz didn't get in my lunch bag. I like my snacks to be airtight... It'd be cool if they could come up with a reusable bag like this with a ziploc type closure.

Well, I do not use it as a snack bag. You would be surprised that I use it to store extra cash in my purse. Yes, sorry but that is my use. It is colorful and easy to find in a cluttered handbag. It's closure is secure. And down right pretty.

These bags are the best!!! I've been wanting to reduce my use of plastics for awhile and these bags were a God sent. Ziplock bags are soo expensive and they end up in landfills or Oceans, but these bags are reusable, saving me $$$. A simple wash with soapy water, rinse, and it's ready to be reused. This is the snack size bag, and there are other sizes for sandwiches as well. If you have children, packing their snacks and lunches in these are a must. I use them to pack my lunch and snacks for work. The outside is made of a canvass cloth which makes it durable for washing and the inside is lined with food grade BPA free plastic.

We have an assortment of these and they really work well. Sturdily constructed, attractive and easy to clean. In general, we've gotten a good year or two of use out of these, and the only things they aren't good for are items that are particularly wet. Very pleased with this companies products.
