This is truly an exceptional ensemble. The individual members are all masters of their respective instruments. Beyond the technical virtuosity, the Canadian Brass play with such attention to phrasing and are so attentive to the expressive power of the music.

Format: Audio CD Verified Purchase

What a ghastly CD. Western instruments and attempts at conventional harmonies simply do not work with tunes written with the Chinese pentatonic scale. I cringed more than once as I listened to this CD before tossing it in the trash. Fortunately, I spent only $0.99 for the CD.
