I bought this as a replacement for my The Mommy Hook, Silver with Black Pad when it broke. I was somehow under the impression that this was a little larger than the Mommy Hook, but it's the same size. The only difference is that the padding around the handle seems to be thinner than on the Mommy Hook, but so far that's not a really big deal. And so far - the Shells Classy hook is still new, so that may be a factor in my comments - it's working out just fine. Recommended.

These Snaps are something I wish "I" had thought of a long time ago. They are a light weight aluminum snap, oversized for light weight lifting. I was not too sure about the usability of these snaps on my first attempt to use them with the plastic bags, but after a little trial and error I can use them with no problems. I do not use these on light bags but the heavier i.e. canned items, meats etc., they come into their own and I can carry several bags without cutting the circulation off to my fingers. I also use these to attach some external bags to my rain bag gear etc., just to keep things together. Their large size make these idea and comfortable grippers. The pad makes the holding/lifting of attached items a bit more comfortable. All in all, the Bag Holder snap is a useful item, that with a bit of imagination can have many other up lifting usages.
