It is what it says it is. It works but if you're trying to make a stand that holds up more than 5 lbs of force, you'll need the bigger size. I tried to use two of these as foot stands for 5' length of pipe I was hoping to drape fabric from. It couldn't hold it up. Next time I'll use the next size up.

We used these to build a frame over our raised bed garden, over which we plan to drape netting to keep the birds from eating our tomatoes this year. (Last year, we fed lots of wildlife, but were disappointed that we had to pick our tomatoes green in order to enjoy them!) We also fitted a plastic top over the frame as a temporary greenhouse to combat a few late spring frosts here in TX. These PVC fittings arrived in time and in great shape. They fit well and were of high quality.

It is a great piece for inventing stuff out of PVC for my pets, however, I work in a hardware store. We stock PVC fittings. Bought these for a project with 3/4PVC (as well as some FORMUFIT 3/4" 4-way Tee PVC Fitting Connector ) and figured I'd just get some bushings. Well these are actually 1 1/4" which makes them a little more bulky for my project (with the bushings). Not a big deal though. I just bought the 11/4 x 3/4 slip bushings instead.

I used regular PVC from the local hardware store. The fit was very snug. Because I was not using it for a pressure fitting I decided no glue was necessary. I would definitely recommend these.

Thanks yes these work very well. Hope they are sunlight resistant for at least a few years. I bit pricey for pieces of molded plastic but if you need them they are worth it!
