The fit and finish is excellent, however, the buyer MUST use caution when ordering. For example: We have a dog bed made out of PVC pipe that measures 2" in diameter OD (outside diameter), a 1-1/2" connector is necessary NOT a 2" connector as you might think. That is the industry standard way of doing things and no fault of Formufit.

I made the mistake of not downloading their fitment guide from the Formufit Website before ordering and first bought the wrong size. I contacted customer service and they got right back with me and helped me straighten out this mess. They are a good company with a great product and excellent customer service.

I bought this fitting for use in a pvc chair, it worked great and has been structurally sound. At first I was concerned about the comment regarding it being solid inside. The two I got were hollow and worked nicely. I also was in contact with FORMUFIT's customer service and they were very friendly and helpful.

These are high-quality PVC connecting fittings. The amazing thing is that these fittings are available neither from Lowes nor Home Depot. By using eight of these fittings as corners along with PVC pipes (that I purchase locally), I can quickly build frames over my ten-foot tall lemon tree and my large patch of bird of paradise plants, arrange old-fashioned (heat-producing) outdoor Christmas lights on the plants, and cover with plastic. These plants have grown to a size which requires me to change that way I protect them and without these corner pieces I could not have completed the frame projects. (This type of protection had enabled me to raise these plants outdoors for three years in the central Willamette Valley in Oregon where they would not live over winters without protection. This protection has kept these plants alive and well down to 10 degree F temperatures.)

Building with PVC is a hobby of mine but these elbows are never carried at the home warehouse stores. This company definitely went above and beyond for me!!! I had initially ordered 4 elbows, it was not until I received the 'your item has shipped' email did I realize I needed 8. I contacted that company and they were super accomodating and helpful (even though it was my fault). High recommended!

It is exactly what I needed. Formufit staff were so helpful. They went the extra mile to help me. I had gotten confused when I ordered prior to measuring my pipe bought at a local store. I was thinking I had ordered the wrong size elbows to connect my existing pipe. I had not. They have an excellent chart to use to be sure one is ordering the proper size. One can print the chart and match up sizes. I will definitely order again when needed. (I was making a tomato cage for Mom's tomato plant on her patio.)
