Easy Setup - Works Great - I am very pleased with not having to run wires out to my patio through the walls. It works great, and it's a much better option than drilling holes and running long cables. I have the transmitter setup in my living room and it wirelessly transmits the signal out to my patio so we can watch TV on the big 10 foot screen. Only slight issue is there is some sporadic loss of signal when changing channels when it's hooked up to the Direct TV box.

When it works, it works great! No difference to the cable image. I compared it.
But after some minutes, maybe 20-30min, it begins with sound stuttering and some image failures, like lines throuth the image.
I think it is cause of other wireless signals, but idk. If I plug out the power cable and plug in again, sometime it works then. Otherwise I make a 5min break, after that it works again.

Idk why it has this problem. Maybe someone can help me?

Distance is only about 1-2 meter.

I purchased this wireless receiver to function with the Optima HD28DSE projector. After spending about 2 hours trying various configurations I isolated the issue - the WHD200 model I received was not working (transmitter would not pair with receiver). I verified that all the other components were functional (I hooked the projector directly up to the PS4 and it worked perfectly). I even had the transmitter and receiver facing each other within one foot away to discount signal attenuation issues. I also verified with OPTOMA (website, documentation) that the WHD200 is compatible with the projector.

Would be great if it worked most of the time. I was confident that this would be an ideal solution to use for watching Cox cable TV on my wall via an Optoma HD26 projector. It is difficult to pair even though the transmitter and receiver are just 30-40 feet away. After the initial paring it works well until I switch to a different input source (an Amazon Fire TV in the 2nd HDMI slot on the projector -- it works great!), then when trying to switch back to the Cox cable feed through the WHD200, it is very difficult for the receiver to reconnect with the transmitter; when it does, there is no sound (but there was before). After about 1/2 hour, the receiver is very hot.
Time to send this back it's too price for the trouble.

It worked... very occasionally dropped off signal.

Didn't work well when using the projector for video games (frame rate changes, etc). I ended up returning. If you are using it for a constant signal and or a remote viewing need it should work for your application. But like I said, during normal use it occasionally dropped signal even though the transmitter/receiver were no less then 10 ft away. I never tested it any further.

I ended up biting the bullet and running a good ol' fashioned hard wire HDMI to my projector through the walls and ceiling (better quality anyways).

Using this in a conference room where an HDMI cable drop/run was not cost effective so this was utilized given that we had 2 inputs (HDMI and VGA). Using this with a SEWELL MANTA, an excellent combo for the MANTA will convert a standard VGA to HDMI with scaler which automatically adjusts the screen resolution on the TV without the need to change your Laptop resolution.
I was not able to notice any lag at all which means this is very good. Of cause you can spend more to get something like the Kramer KW-11 but that is almost 3 times the cost which only gives you 1 input vs this has 2 HDMI input. Or you can go with the Actiontec My Wireless for that one has a noticeable lag but that one works also but when comparing the 3 units, I believe the Optoma WHD200 is the logical choice for me.

I wouldn't have considered a projector for our game room if I had to run wiring to it. This wireless HDMI Transmitter/Receiver paired perfectly with my Optoma HD28DSE projector. The icing on the cake was the projector has a USB-A port, which I used to power the HDMI receiver. The transmitter automatically turns on when it senses signal from one of its two HDMI inputs. Transmitter includes an HDMI output port, which I used for sending audio signal to sound bar.
