Runs Small!

I am 5'3" and 125lbs. I figured a small would be the right size for me since I'm a woman. While it fit, if I ever tried washing it I'm sure it would be too small and the sleeves would pull passed my wrists if I lifted my arms. Order a size larger than you would normally get!

MAKE YOUR OWN ugly sweater?! Genius idea! This kit has everything you need!!

I bought/made one of these kits last year and it was a huge hit at my ugly sweater party!! I am SO excited they have new colors this year! The decorations are all so fun, and love that it has both a sewing kit AND glue (so if you're lazy like me!). The white felt allows you to really customize and cut-out whatever shapes/letters etc you want-- and I even went a little further and used my own christmas decorations that I found around the house too.

My whole family is getting into it this year; we're going to have a 'make your own sweater contest' !

The plain sweater is surprisingly great quality for the reasonable price-- one note, it def. runs on the snugger side which I think plays up the 'ugly' factor, but I'd order up if you don't want it too fitted. Definitely recommend!!

Great Ugly sweater there is

Based in the other reviews it comes in really small which I was thankful for that ordered 2 size up. This is a sweater so fit is not a bodycon. I had a blast making the sweater. I was a little reluctant to use the glue included since it didn't seemed to be holding that firm at first. I lay it flat in bed overnight and so far no loose ends. I am planning on putting a flashing light around the collar area but didn't have the time yet to saw it in. I'll update my review once it has been worn and tried.

Great kit!- bought three and used as a party game

I purchased 3 of these last year for our holiday party to use for a game, passed out to three groups, and gave 10 minutes for each team to come up with the ugliest sweater. Each team sent their model up wearing their creation and the winner won based on level of applause and won a prize- big hit! - will probably do it this year too

Luckily I read the other reviews before ordering and ordered up a size. It does run a bit small.
Be warned, those white shapes you see require some work, as it comes with white felt and stencils you'll need to cut out...
or just take a trip to the local craft store to really ugly it up.

I did not and am glad that I didn't

I bought this for a christmas party. I did not want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a ridiculous sweater that I would probably only wear a handful of times. This fit the bill perfectly. I bought a size small for under $17 and I normally wear size small or medium depending on the chest area. I was worried because some people said to go a size up. I did not and am glad that I didn't. It comes with decorations and glue and thread which is nice. I glued everything that I used on and did not use the thread. The only down side I would say is that the only color felt is white so if you want more colors, you will have to buy some or color it with a sharpie like I did. Recommend for a cheap alternative to the ugly sweater pre made.

Crazy small sweater!

I needed one for my tall, 6'5 husband, he is not fat, but usually wears an XL in sweaters, because of reviews, I went up to an XXL and this thing is tiny. Maybe a normal large, but for a man, I would assume it would have been much bigger- had to send it back :(
