The mount and case are overpriced for what they are, but Annex seems to have no serious competition. I tried one of the cheap rubber band mounts and found it made the phone too hard to use. The Quad Lock mount is a well-made piece and is a pleasure to use.

The case is a little bulky but it's probably better than erring on the side of not protecting the phone well enough in a crash.

There are a few better mounts out there.... if you want to either carry your phone with a bulky case all the time or switch cases every time you ride. I don't want to do either, hence, this is a winner. On and off easy. Super confident in how secure it holds my phone. After watching all the videos, I was still surprised by this mount and case after installation.

It says it comes with a "poncho" to keep off the weather (which is rainy here in Chicago). But there was no poncho. I'm probably going to have to send this back, because I can't imagine that a bike mount with no weather protection will be of much use to me. It has rained 3 out of the last 3 long weekend rides I've taken.

However, I must say that this is as much Amazon's fault as Quad Lock's, because the Quad Lock Case site does not list this product as coming with a poncho (for this particular phone), while Amazon's site does. Amazon must have been using the same text for all the different models. I would not have bought the item if it had been listed correctly.

The product is nice otherwise, and I would have used it if it had weather protection. I suspect that the poncho is not included because the Galaxy S5 is waterproof. But that doesn't mean it's mud-proof on wet crushed limestone trails, and I really hate to be the product tester for that kind of weatherproofing with such an expensive phone.

This product does a great job holding the phone on my bike and it is so easy to get on and off. The case also does a good job protecting my phone. I dropped my phone down a flight of stairs with no issues with the phone. My only negative is for the info listed. Although in one spot it said the s5 did not need the rain cover in another spot it listed it as included, it's not. I do have one suggestion if Annex is reading this. It would be great to create a cover that includes an external battery. Bike apps drain the phone on my all day rides leaving me coming home with little to no battery life left.
