We bought ours at BJs warehouse for $99. Our special needs child lives on French fries for every meal so we needed to find better way to cook them. He loves the fries we cooked in air fryer. I also cooked steak for my wife on included grill which came out great and quick. Steak was tender and moist. My only complaint is that I wish the cookbook was bigger and had more recipes and that they were more complete. Looking for better cookbook for it but other than that we love it.

I just bought this from BJ's for $99.00 and it is worth every penny, I fried a batch of fries and a batch of pot stickers first time using this awesome unit, my fries were crunchy and so were the my pot stickers. The possibilies are endless with this air fryer. I recommend the Kalorik Air Fryer HIGHLY. No oil needed, this air fryer provides heathly eating. Also, when you open the door while cooking, the timer shuts down and so does the fryer, it is a safe unit. I initially let it heat up for 20 min. as manufacturers suggested as to burn off residue from manufacturing, it worked like a charm, no odor and food does not taste like plastic like the previous reviewer mentioned (what was that person talking about? REALLY?...) Believe me, this is worth every penny. I used it every night now.

It does produce crispy potatoes, amazingly. I got it the same place as the other reviewers mentioned. Another benefit is it'll do a couple of baked potatoes fast at lower temperature. I overloaded the basket the first time and only the food on top cooked all the way. It comes with a shiskabob holder, which can also be used upside down to elevate food and cook more at once. But I'd probably just put in less from now on.

The basket and drip catcher are cool to the touch very fast after removing them.

The handle for the basket comes off while cooking. It's a little tough to use but will work if you're patient.

I do have to complain a little in that the tray + basket are a little hard to remove. I wished the tray clipped to the bottom of the basket, which would make it 10x easier to take the basket out without the tray falling out.

For french fries, slice your potatoes on a mandolin, soak 30 minutes. Dry. Spray on a little aerosol olive oil. Pre-heat 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Cook 10 mins. Toss around the french fries. Cook 5-8 more minutes. You'll have 1/2 calorie fries. It's easy to make them too crispy, so stop the time at how crispy you like your fries.

Works great for shoe string fries, also for frozen bbq chicken wings. Frozen chicken nuggets, frozen mozzerella cheese sticks, and frozen crinkle cut fries come out a bit less crispy but they are still enjoyable.
I followed the manufactuters "First Time Use" directions, there is absolutely no plastic taste at all in any food I cooked, as mentioned in another post.
Everything I have cooked in this air fryer has plenty of flavor, no oily taste. The basket is a good size ( 4.2 quarts ) which can hold a good quantity of food.
I would buy this unit again and would recommend. As I said earlier some foods come out less crispy, but that is a small sacrifice to get away from greasy fatty cooking. I suppose I could spray a light amount of cooking spray on the food before cooking but I haven't tried that yet. I will update this post if I do.

Bought this yesterday, and was so excited to try it. First of all, I felt a little deceived. It is an air frier and after reading the description I thought that ment no oil was used during cooking. NOT TRUE! I decided to make homemade french fries. First I had to remove the skin from the potatoes, then cut them into fries. Next, the included cookbook says to soak the fries in water for 30 minutes, drain them, dry them, then you need to coat them with oil. After you do all that, you put them in the machine and start the cooking process. The cooking time for the fries took atleast twice as long as the manual says, and some of the fries were still not browned and crispy, the others were too well done. During the cooking process I removed the basket twice to shake the fries as recommended, and that was a disaster. Grease from the fries shook all over the place and made a mess. The finished fries taste awful! This appliance is definitely going back to the store today! Not even worth one star but I couldn't rate it any less. : (

I also bought mine at B.J.'s. Did not bother to read the instructions. Finally read the instructions. Great little fryer. Delicious fries,onion rings and breaded fish sticks. Wish I bought it when I first saw it. I love how it fries without oils.

I purchased this fryer through Amazon last December and it worked fine for a while but then completely died after 10 months. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that I did not purchase the product from an authorized dealer and so they would not do anything to resolve it. They claimed that unauthorized retailers may refurbish and claim a product as new. It was clearly listed as new and looked new when we received it. I was disappointed in their response and will stick to brands that stand behind their product going forward. This may have been a reasonably priced unit, but in terms of quality, you get what you pay for and I have learned my lesson about this brand.
