I like the hammer because it is a good grasping size and you can't get either end into a small mouth. However the blue key sticks and doesn't always pop back up and my 9 month old would rather hit other things with the hammer.

This is a super cute and fun toy for ages 6 months and up. I like how it can grow with your baby. My younger daughter started using this at about 6 months and still has fun with it now at 11 mos. My older daughter is almost 3 and enjoys playing with it with her. The music sounds are fun and I like the music beats. They remind me a bit of pin ball machine music or old arcade video games. I also like how each one lights up with the music.

We just took this one out of the box and I can see that it will be lots of fun for the foreseeable future, it's not just yet another baby product that is used for a short period of time and then packed away. The hammer can be a toy all to itself, as it currently is for my 5.5 month old son. He isn't yet to the point where he can use the hammer for it's intended purpose, so for now he's going to ease into this toy one step at a time. I like that the music has volume controls and isn't the same 15 second tune over and over and over - it's a little easier for Mom and Dad to tolerate that way. The lights and the movement are both amusing to the baby, and even if he's not exactly sure what to do with this toy right now, it's still keeping him happy and entertained. This toy has been a savior! My 3 year old even loves playing with this. It has stood up to food and washings and many crashes on the floor from the high chair. I would recommend this to everyone... It's a bit loud but it works well

I ended up liking this toy more than I initially expected. As with any musical, banging toy, this noise associated with this one can get a little annoying, but I have found it to be less annoying than many other noise making toys due to the variety of the music it plays. Both my toddlers (1 and 3) and my 5 month old have enjoyed playing with it. I will say that the hammer seems to be a little superfluous as its definitely not needed to play the music. Overall not a bad choice for a noise- making toy.

Our 16-month old had a good time playing with the Beats Bench. He was already familiar with 'hammer' toys before, and naturally took to hitting down the buttons. We thought he would get bored with it rather quickly, but his love of anything musical kept him entertained. The three modes also provided for a variation of the activity, but he was unable to change modes himself.

My 1 year old grandson likes it but the mallet is pretty useless. He pushes the buttons with his hands. I think he will grow bored of it pretty quickly.

My six month old nephew loves this toy. We have so much fun playing with it. The music has really great beats, almost disco music. I am so happy I bought it for him.
