Great product. High Quality! But beware some Drug interactions!

Frist Off: I love New Chapter Products. They are the highest quality I can find. It is rare to hear anything negative about this company.

They even bottle most products in amber glass to decrease plastic.

Turmeric is a long used supplement. It is commonly used for circulation and as a anti-free radical.

I would recommend this product to almost anyone.

Be aware of some drug interactions you should talk to your pharmacist about:

If you are currently being treated with any of the following medications, you should not use turmeric or curcumin in medicinal forms without first talking to your health care provider.

Blood-thinning medicationsÂ -- Tumeric may make the effects of these drugs stronger, raising the risk of bleeding. Blood-thinners include warfarin (Coumadin), clopidogrel (Plavix), and aspirin, among others.

Drugs that reduce stomach acid -- Turmeric may interfere with the action of these drugs, increasing the production of stomach acid:
*Cimetidine (Tagamet)
*Famotidine (Pepcid)
*Ranitidine (Zantac)
*Esomeprazole (Nexium)
*Omeprazole
*Lansoprazole (Prevacid)

Drugs for diabetes (that lower blood sugar) -- Turmeric may make the effects of these drugs stronger, increasing the risk of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).

Drug Interactions:
Blood-thinning MedicationsNonsteroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs)

great for arthritis

New Chapter - Turmericforce, 60 softgels I have been using this product for three years and find that it really helps eliminate my arthritis pain. Since I have been using it, I have had little to no stiffness in my hips and fingers, and rarely have pain in my knees. Please note that you have to take this herb for about three months before you start to see significant results. I have tried other brands of turmeric, and this one seems to be the most effective.

This does the job. I think there are better options around the same price though. This has less MG, and No curcuminoids, which makes it quite a less effective than other Turmeric that has them. I am using Turmeric Pure now. Turmeric Pure - Turmeric Curcumin 95% 1,000mg servings. About the same price when you factor in the MG difference, and it works much better.

powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant product

I take Turmericforce for two reasons. First, research has shown that turmeric may be preventative against Alzheimer's disease, since people from India, who eat lots of curry containing turmeric, have much lower rates of Alzheimer's than people from Western countries. Second, I've had low grade prostate cancer for three and a half years and Dr Aaron Katz, in his 2006 and 2011 books on prostate disease (available on Amazon), recommends that men who are undergoing watchful waiting for their prostate cancer take Turmericforce, Zyflamend, New Chapter Holy Basil and New Chapter Chinese Skullcap (all of which are both anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant), plus other supplements, daily as possible chemo-preventatives against progression of the cancer. I've followed Katz's advice since I was diagnosed, and my last two biopsies were negative and my PSA has been stable, so far. For these reasons, I recommend Turmericforce.

Essential Digestive Supplement #1

I suffer from a digestive disorder called crohn's disease (that is symptomatic of inflammation of the gut from the mouth to the anus), and as you could immagine it comes with all sorts of discomforting problems. I started using this product a few weeks ago, and I can't really say that I have noticed a benefit right now because I was in remmission and unsymptomatic before I started taking it, but I remain stable. The benifits are amazing. I just hope this will help my body find and remain in a stable state. From what I've read in the literature this product can only help.

Gel Cap assures assimilation.

There are a lot of Turmeric products out there, and many go right threw your system without doing you any good.
These gel cape dissolve before they get to your stomach acids and are in your blood where they need to be before the stomach acids destroy most of it. Hard pills and powders can't do that. Only liquid can assimilate quickly. Bottom line here is you get what you pay for!
