I bought this because I work it at home and there it's no room for a bench or squat rack. I was a little concerned because I have never used one of these and this one was the cheapest on Amazon.
I expected it to be flimzy and not last long. I ordered it on Sunday and received it on Friday. All packaging was intact. And a pond opening I was glad to see that the steel was much heavier than what it seemed in the pic. It has a matt finish as well. It did wear slightly when moving the posts but no chipping.
I've only racked 300lbs and it was surprisingly sturdy. I did not slam the weight down or anything but it's easy not then I expected.
The only down side is that my utility bench is only 18 inches off the floor and at the stands lowest the bar drags when racking. I've been wanting a new bench anyway.
Regardless, I was very surprised with the quality. I would buy it again.

It seems sturdy enough, but I haven't racked a ton of weight on it yet (maybe up to ~200 lbs so far). Easy to put together, but it was missing a couple washers. Overall, nice design and it saved me a ton of room in my home gym.

These squat stands are very nice and much higher quality that I expected for the price. They are very sturdy and assembly wasn't too bad. I use them to rack up squats and overhead press at my height, and then lower them for bench press. I would like it if they came down a little lower for bench press, but I guess that's just my short female arms working against me.

If you want to start barbell lifting at home, I would highly recommend these stands, especially if you're short on space and can't get a power rack.

I purchased this item based on some of the positive feedback I saw on the reviews. I have been nothing but disappointed with the purchase. The item was missing bolts when shipped and once assembled was a flimsy base for a rack that is meant to squat heavy weight. Not to mention when I re rack the bar after a squat I have to be very careful not to tip the stand over therefore limiting the ability to max out. Also the rigs bench press attachment sticks out very far and in itself doesn't seem to be very secure so I am afraid to put any heavy weight on it and get under the bar. So I strongly suggest you purchase a different item. ...
