I bought this bone by mistake, since I did’nt see the “Mega” part of it. I bought this as a chew toy for my boston terrier (23 pounds), but seems like this is meant for huge 50-100 pound dogs and is very hard to hold on since it is very heavy. However, my dog likes it and carries it somehow and tries to chew on it all day. I sincerely don’t know how he holds it in his mouth and runs around, it is super heavy, may be 3-4 pounds but nothing deters my dog, he just loves it. It could be the taste that he likes it. One drawback I noticed is that since this is heavy, it may damage something fragile if dropped on. Other than that this is good toy for big dogs not small ones.

Can I give it 10 stars? I love Tasty Bone (well, my dogs do!) because they are an extremely good value for the quality of the product. These things are every bit as good as Nylabone, the giant ones are cheaper than the competition's comparable giant bones and they come in a huge range of flavors. I first stumbled upon these a couple years ago at a discount store in California (rhymes with schmome woods) and I bought two but when I came back a couple weeks later to see if they had more they were gone, never to be seen again. The company website didn't make it easy to order since A. They're in Great Britain and B. I'm not a wholesaler. I was disappointed and so were my dogs, until I found them on Amazon. Got this huge one for 6 bucks (not anymore, now it's 19.99 which is still a good deal when you see the size of this thing) and my pup is so happy. This is the first bone he's had in a long time that he couldn't come tell obliterate in less than 10 minutes.
