Pros:
- long battery life (2-3 days max)
- waterproof
- dustproof
- scratch resistant glass
- display visible in direct sunlight

Cons:
- A bit heavy if you have the metal wristband
- power button has to be pressed just a bit too hard
- micro USB used for charging is on the back of the watch making it a bit of a hassle to plug it in, but still very easy to do.

First off, I would never have purchased this watch had it not been on Amazon w/ same day delivery... While out one cold Sunday morning with my family, I found myself at the mall scanning my Smart phone as my daughter played on the indoor playground. (Stores yet to open.) I had just moved to Android having purchased a used Sony Xperia. I pondered an Apple Watch, but the stainless steel edition was outrageous expensive. As I perused the Amazon App, I saw this pop up. I liked the looks, and the price was decent for the all metal, stainless steel design and IP68 rating. Then I saw the same day delivery! Would be delivered on that very Sunday. I could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere, but all of those places where overseas and would take days to ship. I thought, what the heck, I'll give it a try and my impulse buying took over. Reviews were decent and it would go well with my Xperia.

That evening, a minivan pulled up outside, and while my dog was curiously observing the vehicle, I asked myself, "Is this person delivering my watch?" Sure enough, it was! YAY!

I open up the package and my first thoughts were very positive. It felt good. Nice weight and immediately powered it up. It took a bit to pair to my phone once I installed the Android Wear app, but it had nothing to do with the Watch itself. But once it paired it was all good.

My initial thoughts were a little disappointed with the screen. Having a large pixel density screen on the Xperia, as well as my iPhone 6+, I was taken aback by it. After reading reviews and articles, I realized that the decision to go with the LCD display drastically helped with battery life. I can easily get two full days of use. The only caveat is to turn off location, wrist gestures and always-on screen.Read more ›

I got the white Sony Smartwatch 3 and must say this device has been slept on. There's no heart rate monitor but for me that's not a deal breaker since manually checking your HR is more accurate. Plus no HR must explain why this watch has better battery life than my Moto 360. Seriously with moderate use you can get up to 3 days of battery life out of it. And while wireless charging is "cool" it's not practical. When my 360's battery is low and I'm out and about I just can't randomly find a QI wireless charger to juice up. The Smartwatch 3 uses the standard cable charger that almost all phones use and if you're like me you've got 5 or more of those just lying around.

While the battery life is better than the 360 the screen is not. Compared to it the Smartwatch 3's screen just seemed washed out however the + is when using it outside in direct sunlight its easy to view. Not only is the screen easy to view outside in direct sunlight but it has GPS built in and 4gb of memory so I get to leave my phone at home when I run.
