Ok, so I'm not going to crush this case here, because I believe that generally Lifeproof has the best waterproof cases out there. Here is my review on the major features expected in a waterproof case.
Water tightness:
Granted, I will not go swimming with this, but it holds up as expected. A shower stream, dropping in snow, rain sprinkles, and a quick drop into a bowl of water, we're all uneventful. 5 stars.
Durability:
Dropping from normal heights (not from a plane), should not damage the phone. An obvious exception to this is if one were to drop the phone exactly face down on a surface with something jutting out about a quarter inch. Remember, the screen is still a screen with any case. It does not become an indestructible weapon that you should be whipping at your enemies. 5 Stars
Sound quality:
Here is my main complaint with this case. I had the same model case for my iPhone5. I had switched to that from the fre due to issues with people hearing me on the phone. The nuud case for the 5 was awesome from an audio standpoint. Thus one for the 6 is horrible. You have to have the volume jacked to the max in order to barely be able to make out what people are saying in anything but a completely silent room. To make it even worse, if you use speaker mode, the people on the other end will only hear you talking through a fish bowl. The performance in this category is unacceptable given that Lifeproof has already made a successful case with good audio for other models. 1 Star.
Screen Functionality:
Since this is a "naked" screen case, the touch sensitivity is excellent. The only complaint here is about functionality around the edge of the screen.Read more ›

Well case is FINALLY a reality! After almost 6 months of waiting I received case today!
Lifeproof Nuud: Case feels solid as LifeProof cases always do. Case adds a little more size compared to the Supcase Beetle I had on iphone 6, but nothing overly bulky...Just to be clear case is still slim & sleek and way more compact than a Otterbox Defender while being water proof. Case is basically same size as the FRe if you have seen one on iphone6. Case could have a little more grip, seems a little slick, but still ok. Nuud in appearance looks similar to past Nuud cases, has a nice style. clear rear. I did the water test (as we all should) and had no issues. Install is minutes......Now a few things I noticed in the first 5 minutes......Sound seems a little off, a little muffed. The finger reader with big fingers SUCKS!, can't get whole finger print or scan finger (tried about 50 times)! I had to use my pointer finger if I open with finger reader which will take some getting use to. The charger door port to me is a flaw design? You need nails to open door. There's no recessed area or lip to get finger under door to open. Past models I had always had a lip to catch & open (FRe) or Recessed area (Past Nuud) By adding a more recessed area would allow better use of finger scanner area/angle and could of been engineered to accommodate ease to port door access. Charger port only accepts OEM apple charger (but that's standard with Lifeproof) *** Amazon shows a grey/ blue color which is NOT a reality yet as I called and confirmed with Otterbox. Only colors in production are black & white/grey with no other information on case colors as of now, so don't know where the title on Amazon came from..Read more ›

Lifeproof sent me a replacement and they have fixed the issue with the sound and people can hear me perfectly. The charging port hole is now a lot wider and fits my aftermarket cables perfectly.
Pros:
-you can use the actual touchscreen rather than an annoying plastic-y built in one (I put a glass screen protector on my phone with this case and the case still fits with it on, however is no longer waterproof because the seal lifts up a little)
-you can still see the beautiful look of the back of the iPhone
-the case is attractive, very light weight and not bulky at all (I'm coming from an otterbox defender)
-I've dropped my phone in this case and this case has saved my phone from damage
-Touch ID still work perfectly even with the plastic film over it
-volume and lock buttons are just as easy to use with the case on
Cons:
-mute switch can be a little more difficult to use but honestly it's not that bad
-this case makes the phone significantly longer than it is especially with the headphone jack cover popping out a little
-the headphone jack cover can get annoying and be difficult to use because it can be hard to screw and unscrew.
The headphone extender cord can also be really annoying and I think lifeproof should make the headphone slot bigger to accommodate aftermarket headphones (I also have a hard time plugging in the headphones that came with the iPhone 6)
-comes with a plastic screen protector that fits the screen but I think this case should come with a glass screen protector that fits this screen... After all, you're paying $90 for this case
-back of the case scratches easily
All in all, I highly recommend this case. I've tried a lot of cases but this one beats them all.Read more ›
